Overpopulation is definitely an issue if they crowd specific areas. I think a better solution is for countries to regulate how many people can go there legally. It just makes more sense for people to accept people if the conditions can be satisfied for people living there.

It also makes me consider the population decline because there are population growth is decreasing. In a way, attracting more people will be something that I think most countries will try to do.

I think a place like UK the population will only increase because there's a reduced requirement if you're aiming to go to study. However it's a no-brainer that people are basically moving just to increase their opportunity at a better life. The downside might be overpopulation and even increase in the cost of living.
