I think someone might be trying to make a FAQ. Maybe add in some questions and what is missing. Maybe it will come in useful in the future and we can have new users go there.

There's a guide in videos all you need to know about Hive especially for newbies created by @clicktrackprofit
It is free to join and might help @rob23 to complete the post if he wants:

Here I go shamelessly sharing my CTP love :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is a great one and quite helpful for newbies on Hive. Thanks for sharing Eliana.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad I can help somehow :)
I will gladly answer questions that might show up even after watching all the video training as well if anyone needs!
Me and probably other Lions for sure!
The Hive Guide is excellent, I am a huge fan and a member. :-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad to have you onboard Chris :)
I'll have to check it out to see if there is anything I don't know yet either.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I sometimes go there as a reminder. I learn better through visuals than just reading lol
I have come across Hive Guide before , one of the best for new users . I highly recommend it .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad to read that! Jon did a good job I believe 😁
That's an awesome share. I wasn't aware of that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You need to visit the CTP Swarm more often ;) lol
Inside ClickTrackProfit, the site, there are some video training as well together with online marketing and business training but CTP figured out that a separated and dedicated training about Hive was a must need!
and tada! The Hive Guide was born :)
Haha yeah I guess.. I don't have enough time to be involved in all of the things on Hive.. :/
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I hear ya. The struggle is real lol
This is so cool. Perfect place to get started.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks! I believe so too! It covers even more than that for the savvy people but the basics are there!
All in video training which is even better at least for me :)
Video is always a better form of media.
Video > Graphics > Text

That was precisely the goal. I hit some basics but am rather new myself. Looking for all tips possible!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Great work. I'll make sure to add new information if I think of something you might have missed.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I hope we get a few more people to add to the list. I think I'll add some more things I thought of: useful tools for newbies.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exactly, and I'm sure that everyone has something to add
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not to worry. It is often good to test your knowledge as well. I think the article covered some of the basic things one should know about hive/leofinance
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Much appreciated
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Feel free to hang out here and ask anything that comes to your mind . Good job on the post .

Hive Buzz has a very good welcoming package too. It's under the Tour tab ->

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I don't even bother doing it at this point and I don't think it really helps people learn about the different things in HIVE like RCs, tags and etc. It only introduces them to the various communities and lets them post introductions.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well, you are looking for more technical documentation then? This -> https://leopedia.io/hive/ ?

There really needs to be a dropdown menu at the top of the frontend that opens up a list of things every newbie should read. Thing is, those items would also be something every veteran should read every once in a while as well. There's so much great info here but no real way to organize it. We just have to keep re-writing it and put it out for the latest crop of new users to hopefully see.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Agreed, but there's so many front ends ;-)
On boarding should really be smoother and at least show you the bare basics I think. It's scattered all over the place so great Rob is trying to gather that info
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
More front-ends might be confusing in the beginning but it all helps in onboarding to Hive .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sure does and interacting with just one in the start is great, was aiming more at a combined effort for all front-ends to have a similar starting guide applicable and readily available in each UI.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true but I think there's a basic template that's given to you when you create a community so maybe they should add that to the template
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Good point! If that can be achieved it's easier to point people to it, should easily be accesible on any front-end.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That would be genius
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree. There is plenty of information but no centralized area for new users to go to.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That would be great. The closest thing I know is LeoPedia but I don't know if that's still being updated and it doesn't seem to fill all the gaps
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Agree , a search function should be at the top of the list of priorities . I don't know how many times I want to see a post but can't remember who wrote it and when I saw it .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, that happens quite often to me as well
That feature would be a great help
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You have given in the point friend, at first it was quite hard to get a guide or some information that solved several doubts that I had at the time. It was almost a trial and error learning until little by little and having my eyes wide open and asking questions I have been finding solutions to the questions!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It was the same for me. Being active here on Leo talk definitely helped a ton.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it's a great idea to have a post like this, or multiple posts like this. Especially if we actually push people towards these posts whenever they want answers for these types of questions.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea we can always refer to it and give our ideas about it. Just use a basic faq and point out the things you care about for newbies. There are plenty of ways to keep pushing this out in front of people.
One suggestion we can have for all front-ends is to put a FAQ button on each site. So new people can always click on it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it might even be better to have a FAQ next to a beginner guide, where the faq includes every topic from beginner to advanced people struggle with and beginner guide being the bare necessities to get started and find your own way after.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I like this idea
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think we can take @finguru help too since he is good at preparing presentation .
But as Eliana mentioned here , The Hive Guide does it , CTP is known for it .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the shoutout @amr008, I am ready if you guys have any ideas.
But videos beat presentations any day :D
