RE: LeoThreads: Containers To Create Knowledge Centers

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Hey @taskmaster4450le This makes perfect sense to me. When I saw your thread about banknotes, I've asked you if $leoglossary is the same as leopedia; and you clarified its a different initiative. For me, this post fully sets the scene and I 100% agree with you. I come from a dev/tech background and am used to markdown wikis stored on GIT repos. With that in mind, your post got me thinking... This is a brilliant idea - having a glossary distributed on Treads, on the hive blockchain. Am fully behind this concept. Well done and hope this goes further.

One further thought for you.... You know that in traditional web 2.0 you got CMS systems that define content for front-end websites. Could your idea of glossary/wikis be the "back-end" for web 3.0 "sites"? For example, can this thread-storm be the power behind leopedia site? Perhaps a random thought, perhaps there's something in it. Cheers Task

Well I am not a developer so I cant answer that exactly.

What I do know is anything that is place in LeoThreads or LeoGlossary is on the blockchain. Anyone can pull the data. So I presume anything database built and tied into Threads could be pulled by any front end developed.
