Hi guys,
I have been meditating over a Leo power up for a while and decided to take advantage of yesterday's power up day to finally do it.
Not much Hive (about 10$) but I'm proud I started, maybe not for the reason many of you guys expect.
Last weekend I was at the Lugano NFT-fest and met some guys that spoke a lot about investing, trading bots and DeFi but being part of Hive, near and ethereum community for 3 years led me to an amount of knowledge that just cannot allow me to fit in certain hypocritical situations.
I am very sorry to say this, because there were good people in there too, in particular speakers of projects like DRESSX for metaverse fashion (they're hiring btw), and metabrew and other Pro bono interesting initiatives, but sadly the investment departments were full of people that didn't really know what they were talking about, they just happened to casually mention the blockchain here and there while talking, and they didn't seem to know much of decentralization's history and revolutionary potential.
Don't take me wrong, I arrived only on friday evening, and the big guests were all during the working week, so i guess in a way it was my fault not meeting with ZKpolygonBigGuy, but let's be honest, it doesn't take muc to call a few decentralization aware people in the stands instead of people who sell predictions on NFT price without ANY CLUE on the mechanics of the technology behind them.
And I know the organizers didn't mean wrong.
We're just so bad in marketing we decentralized people, too busy in building new nodes like the VSC project on hive...
Bear market means building, we all know that, we strive so much to do stuff and we don't speak enough about it, and then we complain (I complain) if hypocrites take our places in the conferences.
Let's say we deserve that, at least for the 80%
The other 20% is Lugano "selling itself as a bitcoin town" (words from the locals).
And here we are back to my decision of joining this sacred space full of hivers that AT LEAST KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY MENTION DEFI.

And I don't mean to be racist if you don't know what DeFi is, I also met people who don't know what it is and kindly, candidly, asked me.
That honest ones received answers btw, like anyone of us would do, I mean, I'm an artist,/creator/coder, not a financial advisor obviously.
But I know the basic mechanics of DeFi.
Incentives, Farming, liquid pools, are all concepts that i eat daily since the first Uniswap airdrop.
And btw if anyone here is interested I found pretty high farming APR indexes on Kyberswap lately, amd i follow Kyperswap because i know the basic concepts of DeFi enough to know that using Axelar interchain rust bridge means leveraging the next generation of liquid pooling, i didn't see these APRs sincce the bull arket so, i suggest you guys to have a look and to try and contact the axelar guys if you want to get hive involved, there's a lot of decentralized good stuff over there.
As you can see i didn't have much to invest, but I actually earned almost 2,15$ in two days with 44$ initial investment so...
You can figure what could have been possible with 4400$!
Anyways I resisted and did my Leo PowerUp as per my investment plan.
Will keep you guys informed about the farm in threads for the next week.
