The Mets have a weekend series against the worst team in baseball the White Sox and of course to say the Mets have to sweep is an understatement. The Mets are playing for the opportunity to stay in the race to get a spot in the Wild Card and if they lost just one game against the White Sox this weekend it would be too much. At this stage of the season with so much on the line. They cannot lose one. Unfortunately and historically the Mets have the ability to crush our Mets fans hearts lol.

Too bad Diaz crapped the bed, they had an opportunity to go 3-1 against the Pads and sweep the Dbacks.
Oh well. Each one is of bigger priority now.
He went all fast balls last night and came back strong but yes there are few games this year where as bad as the offense was the bullpen killed the Mets. It's very much the difference if they don't make it in. It will come down to the horror show the pen was including Diaz and his issues. To be fair he still not a 100% after that stupid injury in the WBC, so expect him to be a monster again in 2025.
His last season before he can opt out.
Even better and I doubt they will resign so we'll get one more season of the trumpet playing lol and hopefully his best.
