Jalen Brunson is re-upping with the New York Knicks for the long term.
Brunson and the organization have agreed on a four-year, $156.5 million extension, a league source confirmed to The Athletic.
The contract will kick in for the 2025-26 season and will have a player option on the fourth year. ESPN was first with the news.
A big move. Save the Knicks a lot on the cap and allows them to make some moves.
He can be King of NY if he brings a title to the Knicks.
Huge. He’ll make the difference up in endorsements anyway 🏀🔥 @taskmaster4450le
There is a limit to security. After a certain level, it means nothing other than numbers on a page.
Getting a title would move into the legacy category.
That pitch was really good.
