Ahhhh so sad for the Cheats.

Ahhhh well, try again next year~

Mahomes and Reid. They will be back.

i bet they wont.....got a feeling the gig is up, the AFC knows how to stop them....Pass rush.

They need to go all in on rebuilding the Offensive Line and I would be shocked if they don't have a top flight O-Line next season. They have to protect their golden boy. They will go all in on OL's. At least they would be idiots not to lol. You don't win three out of the last four super bowls being idiots. I hope we see someone else other than the Chiefs and Eagles next season PLEEEEEEEEASE.

also. Where are all the peeps at. Last year this thread cast was hopping.

I don't think anyone cared for any of the participants.

There was a stat showing the Eagles average player is 6 ft 6 inches tall. They're huge.

I’m a Cowboys fan so hate the Eagles but props to their GM. Masterful building of that team across the board.

The TV ads have been so-so. Mountain Dew's Seal ad was funny.

That was our favorite too. My wife burst into laughter. I agree most of them have been nowhere near memorable although the Uber Eats with Matthew McConaughey was ok.

That was well done too. I forgot about McConaughey

maybe next year we will get someone other than the chiefs now. They will break up.

Folks counted out Brady and he kept on winning for years. I wouldn't count out Mahomes. He probably has a few more Super Bowls in him and a win or two as well. He's too good. Offensive Line was shit. They will fix that.

Agreed. !PIZZA !BBH

Local ads have mostly been for law offices

It looks like a lot of AI usage as well. It's expected at this point though so I'm not mad at the part but it has to be more clever and these commercials lacked creativity and cleverness.

chiefs are taking the beating of a lifetime

They won the last two Super Bowls I don't think they will suffer from this loss to much. Just a ding to the ego but they will be back. Mahomes is too good not to be back.

I bet Mahomes will be back in top shape

Not sure about the chiefs thou... lets see how management handles this loss

People are already forgetting the Chiefs won three out of the last four Super Bowls before today's loss. They need to rebuild the Offensive Line. They already have Mahomes in place. They need to protect him much better for him to work his magic. Chris Jones is also not going anywhere and they have a few other defensive guys they can build around. I don't believe they will be too crushed losing today after a week or two.

Now it's just a matter of running down the clock

The Chiefs were never in this game but if I were a Chiefs fan I wouldn't be crying too much since they won three out of the last four Super Bowls and Mahomes is still young so they will be back.

Poor Giants fans lol

I thought the same thing early on but let's face it he wouldn't of had anywhere near the type of success he had this season with the Eagles with the Giants and much less in the near future for that organization. Giants are very bad so Saquon is lucky to have left lol and now has a ring to show for that. WOW.

It's all Eagles so far.

Origins:

  • The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), first played on January 15, 1967, as part of the 1966 season.
  • It was originally known as the "AFL-NFL World Championship Game" because it was the championship game between the champions of the American Football League (AFL) and the NFL. This was before the merger of the two leagues in 1970.

Naming:

  • The term "Super Bowl" was coined by Lamar Hunt, owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, after seeing his child play with a Super Ball toy. The name was officially adopted for the 1969 game.

Roman Numerals:

  • From the third Super Bowl onwards (Super Bowl III), the games have been designated with Roman numerals (e.g., Super Bowl III for the third game) to denote the championship number within the context of the season, not the calendar year.

Key Milestones:

  • Super Bowl I (1967) - Green Bay Packers defeated Kansas City Chiefs, setting the stage for the NFL-AFL merger.
  • Super Bowl V (1971) - The last Super Bowl before the full merger of the NFL and AFL.
  • Super Bowl XVI (1982) - Introduced the tradition of the winning team receiving a Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after the coach who led the Packers to victories in the first two Super Bowls.
  • Super Bowl XXV (1991) - Known for the "Wide Right" miss by Buffalo Bills' kicker Scott Norwood, one of the closest finishes in Super Bowl history.
  • Super Bowl XXXVI (2002) - First post-9/11 Super Bowl, with significant security measures in place.

Cultural Impact:

  • The Super Bowl has grown into one of the most watched television events annually in the United States, known not just for the football but for:
    • The halftime show, which has featured numerous high-profile entertainers.
    • Commercials, which are often as eagerly anticipated as the game itself due to their creativity and high production values.
    • The National Anthem performance, another highlight of the event.

Recent Developments:

  • The NFL has been expanding the international viewership and has occasionally considered playing the Super Bowl abroad, although no such game has been scheduled outside the U.S. to date.
  • The game has evolved with changes in NFL rules, player safety concerns, and technology.

The only guy I root for on the Eagles:

“Saquon Barkley celebrates his birthday today”

The Chiefs won the toss and elected to defer. The Eagles will receive.

Eagles already going for it on 4th and 2 with a big play and offensive pass interference called ouch.

I don’t want the Eagles to win but that call against then was shit.

The Eagles were called for Offensive PI on this play.

Do you agree with the call?

Three and Out - Eagles get the ball back.

Eagles draw first blood.

just joining here. Crazy score so far.

chiefs have an impossible road ahead.

Dude, this game is is a murder.

Chiefs finally score. That almost went bad.

ah only noticed there was a thredcast now
