RE: Cloud mining cryptocurrency in 2021

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Tha Akash address stays the same as the source file (I think its the location of the program, or something. The only field you need to change is the PKT address. I stuffed up and left the <> and it didn't work.

Since this article, I've been testing a few different set ups. The 1 core deployment is marginal to slightly loss making overall. 8 or 10 cores (still with 1g memory and 1g storage) shows a decent profit.

I'll do a full update post tomorrow with more detail.

I've had it stuck on wait for bids a few times, usually because I had an error. Once, it happened when I had everything correct, and then I closed the deploy, lodged out of everything and started again and it worked.

Full post tomorrow, and then I start trying to get an XMR miner working profitably.

Great It's mining now ! Thanks !
Really looking forward your tomorrow post, mining XMR ? I'm in haha.

So if I'm not wrong Akash deployment is mining AND pkt.world miner is also mining on its own right ? basically 2 miners at the same time.

Yes, the Akash deploy is mining for you in the cloud, for fees paid in AKT. The PKT.world wallet is you mining on your computer. I ran it for a bit, but I'm not keen to risk damaging my laptop so I switched that off personally.
