Time to go back into the marketing mind of Jongo for today's blog post!
Excited? I know I am!!!
I was listening to the latest Spaces / Threadcast by @taskmaster4450le this afternoon and it inspired me to look at a topic that I don't think is talked about enough within Hive, and $LEO specifically.
Even though Task's show was talking about tech and the future of AI, something that was mentioned sparked the idea for this blog post in his own unique way.
I remember reading a book years ago, called the 'Revenge of Analog' by David Sax. His book highlighted how in the day and age of digital media and technology expanding day after day, a little bit of human touch is welcomed.
Not that tech should be ignored or not embraced, far from it. But that adding a little bit of humanity back into the mix is a good thing. And that made me realize how important it is for us, right here in the community to become, support and talk about....Raving fans!
The idea is pretty simple...Treat your people, and highlight customers in every way possible. Do this and they become not only loyal to your community / company or brand...They become raving fans of it.
Think about the true believers of a crypto project for example. It's it's own marketing team. You cannot buy the kind of marketing and word of mouth advertising. In fact, it's the most 'trusted' voice that your brand can have.
And sure, some just want to see green candles, but at the end of the day we all believe in what is being built right here. So now if we highlight that community, they become that 'marketing team'. They are loyal and will scream from the mountain tops how exciting it is to build here.
The human touch.
This means the world to so many. Respond to comments, highlight their blog posts, engage with them, share the cream of the crop within the community. There is so much that we can do to support each other and help this project grow....Right from within!
And I'd argue, that's why many projects fail. The community feels abandoned. They show up day after day, month after month and get very little support. Sometimes all it takes is a comment of encouragement, an upvote or two....But sadly, we see time and time again how support for our most valuable assets (the community) disappears.
But the good news....We can change that. Support the community! Add a little bit of human touch to this amazing technology and turn some every day community members into raving fans!

Hive certainly could use some raving fans. There are a handful of practical fans. Acidyo comes to mind. But i cant think of any raving hivians off the top of my head.
Curious who would be your top 3 raving Hiveans.
Ive recently met Ph1102 who is very pleasant and upbeat about hive. Not sure if id say he was raving.
More raving about hive would certainly lead to more thrive. #hivethrive
I liked your musings, thanks for sharing! Hope you are well my man.
I have to admit, I have lost a lot of passion for Hive itself. The whales support their own, the DHF is a mess, and there is very little excitement on the main chain for me.
$LEO on the other hand, is where I absolutely fall in love with the project every day over and over again.
I'd say people like taskmaster, khaleelkazi and the entire leo community are my top dogs right now!
Great to hear from you man, hope you are doing well!
It's really important to focus on building a strong and supportive community.
Adding a human touch and showing appreciation for the community members can go a long way in creating loyal and enthusiastic supporters.
Thanks for your excellent reflection.

Agreed, it goes a long long way!
Community is key for a project. I agree that people should make sure that it is strong and I saw a lot of projects die when they stopped being as active.
Without it, we have nothing!
The best bit of human touch that can be added is engagement
When I mean engagement, I mean commenting, visiting posts and all
It helps to make the community grow
So true and for me, if people engagement with me, I will make sure to reply and get those upvotes sent out too!
You're right. Community support is needed to keep the community thriving and it's members invested in it. Engaging with the members of the community via comments, upvotes and other ways of support will give them a sense of belonging and keep the community together. It's a simple tip that many community leaders have ignored, that is the human touch. It's absolutely paramount in a world about to be taken over by digitisation and artificial intelligence. Thanks for writing.
Yeah and it doesn't require a ton of effort or even capital to make it effective. A simple reply, upvote here and there...Goes a long way.
Technological creativity is still far from human creativity and, furthermore, it has no soul.
Agreed!
