Never mind, really bad joke. Anyways, I have some serious gripes today with the fun filled world of crypto. And it all started from a message I received on my phone last night...

2025....And we are living in the world of....Fartcoin.
So yeah, the meme coins are all the rage, and people seem to be making millions off these idiotic 'projects'. And I use the term project very losely.
From that 'Spit on that thang' chick, to Trumpcoin and everything in between, this is what crypto has become.
And it kind of breaks my heart....
If you know my story, I was here since the beginning. I was mining bitcoins when they were around $100 (and of course I sold them at $500) but there was something special with this stuff...
The promise of a bright future without, the big banks.
The promise for entrepreneurs to never rely on PayPal to accept payments online.
The promise of true financial freedom.
And here we are with....
Fartcoin.
What aggravates me to no end, after all these years is that we are part of a blockchain community right here, that can literally...Be the freedom and change that crypto once promised.
But $LEO is like a penny and $HIVE is 20 cents or something...
Meanwhile.....Fartcoin.
What are we even doing here?
Think of all the hype and hoopla that we've seen in this industry over the past few years and it reminds me of my old internet marketing career. No one wanted to build anything of value for the long term, they wanted to strike it rich overnight.
Forget working for something and building something of value for the years to come. Just join the latest greatest money making scam or scheme.
The crypto world has literally become....A scam.
Until I see projects like LEO and HIVE get the recognition in the markets that they deserve, I won't change my opinion either. Because after all the talk I've heard about crypto, and how it's going to change the world.....
I see.....Fartcoin.

I wish I was capable of feeling content just focusing on hype trains and cashing out on them, whether it’s in crypto or in culture…
But I can’t help but crave substance and despise anything that lacks it. I’d be rich already if I tried to provide hype as much as I do real value, but I feel like in the end I’ve had a bigger impact and built something sustainable that won’t get pulled out from under me.
I’ve only ever doubted hive when I doubted the people on it, but somehow when someone breaks my faith in hive some old members or new members prove to me that this place is worth building together.
Don’t worry about the fart coins in the world, those people are the same ones who end up loosing it all on the dumbest decisions
Agreed. The tech on this chain is pretty much perfect. The powers that be, not so much. But yeah lol I'd be rich if I wasn't so loyal to this place lol

There isn't much we can do, but I think the memecoins are following a gamblers market. Nobody knows how well it will do but it gives people a chance to earn a ton of money if they are right.

The madness of meme coins are getting out of hand.
Do I tell you how many times a day I get notifications from Bitget, Gate.io, Binance and co about crypto projects that are listing everyone and then and the annoying thing is that they bear very foolish and aggravating names. One was even name pussy coin, can you imagine?
Last year I went into meme coins mining. All through the year I was deep head into mining different types of telegram coins. My experience? A disaster. They were just after collecting tons as gas fee and list at a nonsense price. Some didn’t even list. When I saw that these people were bent of making a mockery out of people and memecoin rush, I gave up.
Thank God I’ve found hive. I believe in coins like hive and Leo and we are going places
Think the problem is that so many people have a underlying feeling that the financial situation is hopeless, the younger generation dont have the same chance to buy a house, have enough money to provide for a family without any issue and at the same time they feel the society overall is in a downfall.
This makes people grasp for for anything they hope can bring them out from this hopelessness and with the right marketing memecoins came in to their rescue.
It's sad that this happens, but people like risk, and for every successful meme coin, there are 10,000 that end in 0.
Crypto was supposed to be about financial freedom, but now it’s some kind of a meme casino. The actual useful projects get ignored while nonsense pumps. Mr Jongo your ranting has infected me too hahahahahah 🤣🤣
I’ve had awful experiences with mentions so I am usually scared of them, lol
We never expected that BTC would rise that high. However, we have another potential coin, HIVE. I just go on staking ;)
Something needs to change here tho, and I'm not sure Hive can really do much more.
