What. A. Show!!

Today we welcomed long time Hive Witness and creator of HiveBuzz to the podcast - @arcange

And what a BOMB he dropped for everyone as he introduced the Hive Authentication Service complete with a live demo of the application!

I truly belive this is one of the most needed and anticipated applications this blockchain has ever produced and we're honored to have Arcange show it to our viewers.

Hope you guys get as excited as we did :)

Be sure to vote for Arcange's proposals for not only the HAS but also development of @HiveBuzz as well!

great to see another group of people talking about crypto.

That's all on our mind, every day ;)

Thanks again for inviting me to your show. I really felt home and enjoyed it a lot.

You have been asking really good questions and this one hour talk will for sure become a reference for those who want to understand HAS and what will can achieved by with it.

Oh man, it was our pleasure. Honored to have you on and thanks so much for sharing this with everyone!

Your guest was very interesting and held my attention during the presentation. The HAS project will be a great to use. I look forward to using it when it is released. Thank you for having him on to discuss his projects.

For sure, thanks for hanging out and checking out the show! It really is going to be so useful!!

@arcange's apps are always easy to use. So I was confident this one would be as well.

HAS is very powerful for its cross-device, cross-platform, cross-browser capabilities, imo. And for having security at its heart.

It resembles WalletConnect as a way it works, that's true. I use that to connect Trust Wallet with ThorSwap, and it is easy indeed, much easier than Google Authenticator. But WalletConnect works with Ethereum/BSC/Thorswap addresses, HAS works with Hive accounts. To me that is a big development for Hive.

Huge! I think it's one of the missing pieces for sure to get us into more hands of the masses.

LOL That's great!!

Wow man this episode was really cool, this is actually the first time I saw @arcange I thought that I'd never see him haha so nice to understand a little bit more of this great project that I've being following from the first publication and I'm looking forward to see this technology implemented on different Dapps, in fact I'm really into the idea of having your own HAS server and just get access only by providing your name. It was so hilarious when @taskmaster4450 said "we need more paranoic people like you " lol. Thank you for bringing even more value to the table I'll stay tuned and looking forward to see more updates.

Appreciate you checking out the show :)

Yeah Task is actually one of the funniest guys on the blockchain, don't let his 'serious' videos fool ya lol

It sounds amazing but I have a feeling I might get tired of going to another screen to confirm every transaction. However it does make it more secure since you have to sign off on each transaction.

Keychain will allow you to "whitelist" a device/app/session you trust to skip the confirmation step.

That is great to know. Thanks for the information.

The Hive Authentication Service (HAS) will probably be the first step towards mass adoption. The easier the usage (including the login process), the more people will use it.

And if I may write down a suggestion, then I would like to mention SMS confirmation. This works on many websites. You receive an SMS with a code, and you confirm your login with that code.

SMS confirmation

Why add another level of confirmation? Not really needed with HAS;
That being said, it's up to the App or the PKSA to provide such a feature and take charge of the related cost.

Why add another level of confirmation?

For additional/more security. MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).

Yeah I have no doubt this will become the easiest app to use, Arcange has a tendency to put usability first and foremost with his stuff. This is going to be epic :)

🙋🏼‍♂️ Regards Thomas🙌🏻 Wow, @arcange in the podcast?! Will definitely listen into the Episode. His proposal about Hive Authentication is one I Support and it will be stunning to learn more about it.

Absolutely!

A must support for the blockchain in my opinion!
