There seems to be a lot more 'bot / scam ' accounts on LEO now...It's to be expected, just because of the growth we're seeing here...
But my goodness, these accounts are nothing but plagues.
The fake engagement is pathetic. I wont be upvoting these accounts or even replying to them going forward.

Yea with growth this part is 100% inevitable 😒 and it makes the feed look like 🗑️ at times. I do feel like over time the culprits will start realizing it’s just not worth it, especially when account creation gets more expensive. Not sure how long will give em away for free
there are times i welcome it, it could drive numbers and get people talking but it is a lot of spew lol

it’s been about a year since I got stingier with comment voting. I try to upvote the ones that feel like real people saying real things if I have the VP but I needed to stop upvoting people who were saying nothing at all
yeah they can get sneaky but you start to notice patterns pretty quick
