The barn and coop are starting to come together. Birds are 2 weeks old and should be ready for their new home in about a month...

That is nice. Did the rest of the chicks make it?

Yeah man, so far 8 of them are healthy and growing great.

That is good. How long does it take for them to grow up and start laying you eggs?

I think it's around 4 months old. Give or take a few weeks.

It won't be long then. The prices have eggs have gone down slightly but they are still quite expensive. I remember it being over $11 for 120 eggs at Costco a month ago but it was only $9.79 for that same amount yesterday.

Oh wow, that's super cheap. A dozen here is about 4 bucks.

Ops. I miswrote, it was $9.79 for 60 eggs, not 120. I miswrote things but it was still like 15-16 cents per egg. It's costco prices though.

Wonderful!!! It is looking good! Great job!

Thank ya kindly!

i can not see the bird i the picture. Are they in the wooden house? how many birds do you have?

Nah, we have them in a brooder still. Too young to be out in the cold. They'll go out there in like 4 weeks.

This looks like a lot of work.. Having a pet is.. It requires patience, time and discpline. You have done great so far
