So it's been a few weeks since I stopped using Brave and went back to Chrome.

This experience is just as bad lol

Are there any browsers out there, that aren't resource hogs and are actually enjoyable to use?

Sort:

Chrome is bad in the last few months (on windows), everything eats memory. Twitter sometimes goes to 2-3GB. Never happened on Brave.
You are on Mac?

Yeah I'm on a MAC....Switched from Brve to Chrome a few weeks ago....But it's just as bad for me.

considering i am a messy tab guy i am even a bit surprised that i don't have problems with Brave (on Win.)

Opera or opera gx

Better option huh?

yep, I've been using them for like 6 months. highly recommend

No Keychain though? What do you use for Hive?

all chrome extensions can be installed so I use Keychain

isn't this what firefox is all about? I used to use Opera yet on Brave lately and need to get off it myself... ugh...

Urgh haven't used firefox forever. but might be my only option for pairing with keychain.

actually on a mac safari is quite good.
on my M2 macbook air safari gives me so much more battery life and ease of use.
the only issue no keychain plugin
can't wait to end Keychain as the main KPA.

Geeez I might make that switch you know. It's been years since I used Safari but wow....These other options are just awful.

yeah memory hogs. bog down your machine.
i only use chrome for InLeo. nothing else.
Safari is constantly optimized for Mac Silicon just no one talks about it because talking heads online are windows and EVM biased.

Wonder if Keychain was developed for safari and has an extension?

no idea. Could talk to the team.
since they are getting $600 HBD a day from DHF you would think they could make time for it.
they didn't even fully integrate Hive-Auth yet so we had to get the PKA from Arcange directly for our new project

Tweeted them out, I don't think they hang out here but I'll tag them and see @keychain

We integrated HiveAuth over a year ago.
As for Safari, many technical and review hassles make deploying to the browsers difficult. It has nothing to do with our budget, Metamask hasn't deployed to Safari either, with hundreds times our budget over.
We'll keep monitoring the situation and see if deploying to it gets easier.

yeah you have Hive-Auth and we use it. but we had to switch to Hive-Auth Mobile released by Arcange for connecting to Unity as Keychain does not give back the same results. Their are differences.
We would love to use Keychain for our Hive Unity SDK.

as far as Safari it is actually very easy to turn your chrome extension into a Safari extension you don't even have to change code.

Don't take anything as hate everyone loves Keychain but development is progressing really fast in the world it is hard for any project to keep up.

I have been using Librewolf without troubles on a Chromebook although it tends to break websites until you lower the security measures

Ahh nice, thanks for the recommendation!

Oprah?

Oprah?

Opera. Lmfao
