I doubt it would have the pull the music stuff has, and a lot of it would end up being personal opinion re: reviews. but could build a nice little database.

Potentially a dBlog that links to the reviews by book title or author. dblog is multi-author and would have a simpler URL to follow.

We can link to the reviews through Leo. Coming from an outside website, it increases incoming link fu.
I agree. There needs to be a central database on Leo itself but then there's nothing to stop outside links as well…

Just the usual reward mechanisms in place, and the joy of creating and viewing content you enjoy!
At some point there will probably be contests and the like, which will add more incentive I'm sure…
