First of all, watching this video would make more sense than reading the text that accompanies it and this is because of certain issues that I've pointed out when it comes to the various misconceptions about vlogging or creating video content, first of all, this video took me a collective 4 hours to make and surprisingly, time, value and the quality that's meted out to video contents are lower than written or picture-based contents.
First of all, I'd like to say making video content is very difficult and there's the misconception that it's quite easy which accords it lesser value than it might embody.
In this video, I discussed some of the biggest challenges that come with making video content and how we can come to appreciate the effort and work that comes with it.
Firstly, I like to point out that it's beyond the 7 or 8 minutes that the video plays for, as more work has gone on in the background. So, interestingly, I'll like you to tell me if you can relate to the challenges I talked about in this video.

Video creation is a learning process. All creators usually starts off bad and improve with time. You can also do a few things to improve on your quality which is already good.
For example, you seem to be looking somewhere else when your content seems spontaneous. To fix this, simply be looking straight into your camera lens, and that will translate easily to looking straight at us your viewers and increase ur quality a bit further.
Another thing is clapping. It seems to me like a reflex for u. But u can do without!
Your video quality and background are quite applaudable. You need not do so much work there. But I feel, if you can move backwards a bit more, to crop in from your waist level up, could be nicer.
For audio, my friend, a videographer had been using this wireless mic and the quality has been impressive as it comes with built in noise cancelation. You could use it to improve your production.
One last thing. Editing. Your video looks flat, you start and end the same way which is not bad but could be better.
If you use keyframes, you can occasionally zoom in and out of the image which creates that sense of activity which is good for retention. B-rolls (additional clips and videos) are also very important.
It will take sometime, but you'll enjoy the result.
VN editor is a solid and simple mobile app that you can use. I highly recommend it.
This I can defend. The thing is that I do not rehearse my video before coming to shoot them, I already know what I want to do but developing the content as the video goes on is what I exactly do. This can be difficult, infact very difficult but then I try as much as possible to make the video about the content, however, because I brainstorm, get creative while talking I tend do some irregular things, like the face and hand gestures.
I have videos with very good editing and this aren't talk videos like I do.
Thanks a lot, I'll work on the other things as well.
Thanks. I usually enjoy your content!
Your videos are inspiring and well addressed I hope to do mine like this someday lol.

It is not easy to do this video thing. I have tried alot of times but I am just too shy..
I am looking at getting all I need to start my VLOG soon. Hopefully before the year runs out
It's not easy, do you know how many times, I'd cut, redo, cut again, edit, cut out the redundancies and begin again. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it's worth it, but the experience is exciting. I hope you get to start soon.
