🧵 Cooking has always been an art, to me. I have gotten the notion always that women cooks better than men, but all the women I've met have alway attested that I was a better cook than they are.

I actually think men cook better. It's not everyday you find a man that cooks but when you do, he makes sure he stands out
That's true. There's always an exception and when there is, these men are always very good. I think it's probably an African thing. The men who are few good cooks does well
and those are the kind of men that hardly compliments their spouses efforts in the kitchen.
True, Men who can hardly cook hardly compliments their partners. They're used to eating out, so they don't see a big deal
Exactly, and that sometimes ruins relationships.
of course, it's not a feminine duty, but it depends on how some people are trained
However, cooking is for everyone. I think we need to establish this believability amongst all men, before we can have people who would take the idea of cooking very serious. For someone like me, cooking is a
Above all, it's a passion. I started cooking at ten and even 19 years later, I can still cook more than 90% of the women I've met. I can say this was because I learned to enjoy the process, rather than see it as a burden
Good to read about your passion. My eldest and second sons got their love for cooking from their mom. My youngest son on the other hand followed my footstep. We both love to eat. 🤣😂
Posting this for the second time:
The biggest barrier however is shopping for recipe and cooking ingredients. Sometimes shopping for food because too difficult, it makes the process of cooking very stressful. However, it's still possible to enjoy the process
You're right though, the shopping process is not always easy, but it's something we can not run away from, unless we'll not have what to cook
This is the part that I find tiresome.
cooking is an incredible art which does not get its due credit
I think it's underrated like you've said. Some people are just true masters.
Oga Jose, send me food. Hunger won finish me.
On a serious note, some of the top chefs in the world are men, so that narrative about women being better cooks is faulty.
Although I would like my woman to cook for me though. 🙃
th your babe, I know you're sorted. Unless she's not around
Men can Cook TBH, but we're not in the majority.
I met this useless Ghanian girl once, she hated cooking.
Lol make feminist no catch you Jose? 🤣 wetin you dey do with Ghanaian babe? Are you there of logos Baddies?
Omo, shey feminist no go eat? Haha
Omo as per the Ghanian girl. She was an ex when I was in school. I dodged a bullet, she could have ruined my life. All beauty no essence
We thank God for your life 🤣
I learned how to do things on my own, being overly dependent on women can be costly
oh really, then you are really a chef, I think your wife won’t suffer then. You can as well help her when she is in need. Yeah, I also do agree that women can cook more than men, but believe me, some men can cook more than women.
Deep down I want my woman to do my cooking, but being totally reliant on them can be costly. I prefer to do my cooking, so, even when I get married, I still want my woman to be a better cook
Yeah, she really needs to be a better cook indeed. very necessary
I also want to learn cooking
Hahaha you can, the internet can really be of good
You are absolutely right, cooking is for everyone, and it is wrong to get married just because you want a lady to cook for you. I second you on sourcing and buying food ingredients as the tiring part of cooking.
Hmmm, well, I will love to have a taste in your food 😂, I Love men that knows how to cook😊
I agree it is an art. I have both men and women friends who are excellent cooks.
