Scarcity is a prevalent phenomenon in the general human life, it's an economic situation that somehow entangles with one's psychology. The mental strength in mitigating scarcity is something that's different in various people. One of the reasons for financial education is to deal with scarcity. I talked about the reasons why we cannot totally eradicate it and how dealing with it creatively differentiates the financial capacity of different people.

Scarcity, I believe is manmade. Most times it is the product of one stupid decision made by someone at the top. Or it could be a summation of unwise choices made over time leading to a climax of scarcity. I believe that it is something that can be intelligently avoided...

One major reason scarcity would always be with us is the fact that humans are filled with greed. Not everyone has learnt to keep his greed in check.

The advantage of scarcity is that it forces people to look for alternatives and that's how their creativity emerges. There was a time animal hide was used as writing paper. And because animal hide was used for a ton of other things, clothes, shoes, bags... Paper became scarce. That's what forced people to turn to wood for paper and in some places, animal dung is used to make paper... Don't worry, it doesn't smell.😃

Overall, scarcity can be a tool or an enemy depending on the choices made based on it.

Well the video emphasises on creativity in the face of scarcity. While it can actually be natural it can be artificial as well and I went ahead to discuss how humans have become amazingly creative to stay afloat the lack and neediness that is being caused by scarcity. Spot on for analysis. Cheers you made valid points.

Too many don’t understand the importance of this but helps in every way

It's hard to make choices but it's a part of life. I would have focused on getting to a certain amount of HP before going into the savings because it increases your ability to be active on the chain and earn.

You're absolutely correct, I guess some people will choose to actually get more HBD then buy back Hive to power up. I think it's still amazing how we sometimes make great decision in the face or little resource.

I prefer holding hbd and buy back because it is win-win game

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is smart, because it's going to be a win-win situation, especially when you're aiming to accumulate more

Definitely, I can only sell my hbd when I see the price of hive around 0.3-0.2

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha that's very smart, but hopefully we don't see those prices ever for Hive again

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is crypto and I don't give up on that price

I think it depends but the person might believe that they don't need to be that active on chain. If they are only posting every few days or something like that, the HP they have should be sufficient. However I think the investment into HP is better because it means you can engage and promote yourself out there to others.

Well it's quite a dicey dilemma isn't it hahaha. However I believe both situations have their advantages

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I agree with you, irrespective of what we choose hive has make it possible for all of us to earn

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That possibility brings way to many choices, I think this is how we eventually come to compound really well.
