So it's the game.....I just got back from the show, yea.....calling it a show as it was pretty interesting, haha. So I just got back from the web3 21 space in which I really enjoyed and learnt a lot from, and I'm not gonna deny the cracked up moment that happened in the first 5-10 mins. Actually heard of a guy called "guy who lost a hundred kk"🤣 like for real??🤣. It was really engaging and much more engaging when they started talking about building a community.
So back to the discussion that was on for the first hour. "Growing a community"
Firstly I buy to the idea of goals, yeah there should be a goal for a community, it ain't and won't be advisable to just start a community without a goal....like there should be clear expectations of what you want and how you want it to be done. Maybe one can go with a scheme of work, well outlined scheme of work one has to work with.
Like I've seen some community here on hive that actually work with that tho and I think they're doing pretty well, I think I once bumped into a music community where they were a outlining their goal for the best 2-3 weeks, like that's pretty well as you're giving people stuffs to engage with and keep them updated with the plan ahead of time. And also I'll back it up with awards, an example of a NFT given banana as a reward was and I kinda agree with that ad well.
Yes, money award would be much more appreciated and push people to to engage more but we all know that's not gonna be possible, lol. It can't be possible as it's a business and not a charity conference, haha, so giving out such won't be possible but tokens and other stuffs, think that'll be really nice.
And Also I like the idea of bringing in interesting stuffs to do, like taking in discord as a place where members meet to engage, talk on live and also make jokes on stuffs, like that'd be crazy and fun at the same time. If possible people might get into something through your channel....u know What I mean🙃? You might be the founder of a new fresh wedded couple, lolxxxx
It falls back to engagement, I'm even thinking do you think it'll be possible to bring a challenge between communities? Like two communities to bring up a challenge and involve other smaller communities and each of the communities will bring out their best attendant, like their most active member and all off them from each of the community will go on for the challenge while the top two communities who are the host will then select the winner.
Like I said it's a suggestion and I really don't know If it's happening already, but if it isn't then maybe people should give it a try.....this will bring in great participants and that's if there's a big price intact o, something this huge should go for a big price.
Nevertheless, I do believe someday all communities will boom as web3 is really growing very fast. It's not going to be easy but it'll happen an I really can't wait to see it happen. Time to go now and I'm glad to be a participant of this great opportunity, looking forward to getting more great opportunities like this and see ya all soon, Gat to go update my task
