Hive reward pool.
A trending topic ATM, people wondering if the reward system is about to be scrap out. And I tell you if that's done it'll really reduce the engagement on hive as lots of persons are making this their first/second income room. Some persons have invested weeks months and years of their life into this platform and I do know that removing this reward pool will discourage them to invest more.

So how the reward pool should be done, OK....i actually like the current system at hand, where it's been done between content creators, those interacting with content and communities. It's cool and I'm really OK with it, although there are other methods seen and one I've heard is content creators get rewards base on their longevity on the platform but applying that here i think it'll be abused as some users who don't create much will feel relax and not interact with the platform knowing fully well that they'll be paid no matter what the case may be and that will indeed reduce hive work popularity.
How bout staking? Should people be rewarded based on their stakes? Lemme say getting a high portion of hive then you'll be rewarded with some good amounts of hive or tokens or anything, I do think that'll work as well, it'll increase and boost the engagement of the community, although I don't know if its already happening but if it is then that's OK too.
In all I don't think removing the reward pool will ever be a good idea as hive has become a means of earning at least a thing or two everyday for almost everyone and it's what's keeping most people here so removing it will be a red flag for not just this platform but also other web3 platform as people will not be motivated to give their all into web3 projects anymore. It'll be discouraging to see all your work been taken away due to one reason or the other.
