Everyone has goals set for themselves. Some are long term goals while others are short term goals. Setting goals for yourself is a wise thing to do. It helps you to have some kind of focus and build your confidence too. But then, is setting goals the ultimate? It doesn't take a thing to set a goal, what matters and how you plan and carry out those goals.
Think: This time is iterative. In fact this is the foundation of your strategic planning. If you pull this through, you are 80% away from getting that goal. This is the time to brainstorm on your business, life, income, economy and what have you. This is the time to put in all your ideas together.
I encourage that this time, is when you set your paper and pen and write down every idea that comes to your mind. Writing down things helps you brainstorm on them better.
Plan: This is the second stage to achieving that sustainable growth. After thinking through, this is the next important step to take. This is when you strategize on what you have thought through. This is where you write out the action plan for that business that you want. At this stage, you prioritize whatever step you have chosen and also write them down too.
Have meetings with experts, read books concerning that business too and try as much as you can to gather enough knowledge in that business area that you have chosen. You have to continually align with that strategy that you have already mapped out.
Do: This is action,action and more action. This is where the actual work begins. After thinking and planning, the next step is carrying out those strategies. Ensuring that those boxes filled with priorities are all ticked.
You can make adjustments where necessary but always ensure you are staying on the right track too. This is where the work comes in and there should be no dull moments here. If you fail here, it doesn't matter. Go back to the map and continue business.
Conclusion
As you visualize and embark on this goal of yours, just know that it wont be as easy as it may look. There will be challenges and opportunities too. The goal is to keep pushing, stay focused and stay on the lane too.

I believe that brainstorming and planning too, are paramount to success. And it should be where the majority of our time and effort be allotted to when starting a business.

Planning and organizing life has to be one of the hardest thing especially in relation to careers. It would be a long walk and plenty work. Thank you for this informative post.
