Regarding her views... wouldn't it be interesting that instead of all these "targeted bailouts/stimulus", they just wrote checks to all the American people for that same amount and then see how well that actually stimulates the economy? I think that $2 trillion number came out to like $16k per American household...

I totally agree that there are MUCH better ways to alleviate the financial burden for average Americans. The $1200 cheque is a joke.
A few alternatives:
They could easily distribute $1600, as you say, directly to average Americans and that would do more to stimulate the economy.
Instead, they're purposefully making it overly complicated and adding middlemen and loopholes in order to pilfer the funds for the already wealthy.
The result will be a a massive concentration of wealth in the hands of a very few (see Amazon) and extreme inequality.
Payout out average Americans first. The one's who actually need it.
The corporate bailouts are insane, they are even gobbling up small business loans.
This is a massive swindle...again.
