Most of us already know the Masterpiece of William Shakespeare’s tragic love story “Romeo and Juliet”.

Being immersed in the plot of the story, we sometimes overlook the setting.

I honestly admit that I am one of those people who fail to mind Romeo and Juliet’s, specified city in the story.

Just learned from our Italian Guide/ Driver named Ruggero, that we are going to have a short side trip to Romeo and Juliet’s Place.

Verona City is in the northern part of Italy. From Venice, you had to travel (by car) one and a half hours or more. It is just a short trip, but still also a memorable one.

As expected, being one of a historical and artistic - It is again crowded indeed. As we already learned from our companion’s real-life experience, we tried to avoid crowds to avoid some people who were eyeing those innocent tourists’ valuables.

The Driver just parked our rented car to cool down the engine for a brief moment. So that we can explore the city of love.

Had a few snaps of the place but we are more eager to fill our stomachs with lots of variety of snacks within the vicinity.

We did enjoy having the sweet and fresh strawberries dipped in melted milk chocolates, a cup of coffee seemed to make us cozy.

The cold climate makes us a bit freeze, my hands and feet are a bit cold and clammy. Even though I had worn thick clothing enough to keep me warm, the cold seemed to be getting in my ears and scalp.

Having a warm cup of coffee in my hand didn’t make it last for a couple of minutes, the comfort of its warmth had gone.

Made me find a spot to catch sunshine in that square. Where people are scattered Everywhere. Some are buying stuff for them to bring home, souvenirs, and presence for them to remember that once they had roamed in a place they call the City of Love- Romeo and Juliet’s Home.
