A debtor will always remain a slave to the creditor.
A debtor will always be in the bondage of the creditor.
Some have disciplined themselves to the extent that they will never owe you.
They prefer to let the situation remain than for them to owe you.
I have a friend that will never owe you a penny. she prefers you owe her than for her to owe you.
Those are people with integrity. They're not many these days. When you owe someone, the situation changes in a sense that one acts like the master and the other acts like the slave. It's much better to avoid it completely and just maintain that integrity.
