First, I'd like to thank all Savers for your nominations and votes that resulted in my being awarded the Saver of the Year 1st Prize. I thoroughly appreciate it. You are the best group of people on Hive that encourage, engage, and support each other not only weekly, but each day as we all seek to meet our goals.
Congratulations to @noctury who won Saver of the Year Second Prize; and @ifarmgirl and @tydynrain who shared Saver of the Year Joint Third Prize. Awesome Savers in my opinion who richly deserve the nominations and wins.
Second, thank you @shanibeer for the Christmas Gift. Wow, what a surprise. I appreciate the generosity. Also, you gave generously all year of your time, knowledge, and resources in guiding, rewarding and encouraging us in Club activities. An awesome leader. It was great to see how other Savers are doing within the Club. So, thanks for the statistics report. I appreciate all you have done for the Club.
Third, congratulations to all Savers who reached their goals this week and all during 2024. It was awesome to read your posts and/or comments advising of your accomplishments. I could just feel the pride and satisfaction in setting goals, then reaching them. It was the same for me.
Lastly, congratulations to @bulliontools and @servelle for winning (EDS still listed) perhaps EDSI) for your comments last week.
SSC Questions:
What difference has the Club made to you?
When I joined the SSC a few years ago, I didn't know what to expect or how the participation would affect my online presence. A diligent, attentive saver offline, I didn't see an urgent need to do so online. I had no idea that five years later I would amass the resources I have just from being active on Hive and setting and achieving goals in the SSC. Seeing other SSC members work toward their goals and how disciplined they were inspired me to do the same. Also, I'm thankful for the investments opportunities the Club made available to members as well as resources in the Discord channel in which I learned a lot. But the most important aspect of the Club has been to redirect my focus, give me a purpose, and then provide me the tools to achieve my goals with their 365-day and weekly "slow and steady" savings plans approach.
Did you achieve any of your Savings Goals?
I credit SSC for directly assisting me in achieving my savings goals. In each of the last two years, I saved over 500 HBD. In 2024, I've reached two HP goals and two others in Tokens.
Have you met new people or learned new things along the way?
This is huge. Were it not for the SSC, I wouldn't have met numerous individuals on the same savings journey as I who engaged and encouraged me. Several of the Savers' SSC progress reports are loaded with information and tips that I follow up on to see whether the projects are right for my portfolio. @bulliontools, @ifarmgirl, @thebighigg are just a few.
My SSC Week 51 Activities:
Another week of grossing over 100 HP. This week my author and curation rewards were 158 HP. I'm pleased I was able to publish daily that earned above-average rewards. My HP goal for 2025 will change substantially as I've made other offline investments. I'll assess at the start of the SSC in January.
