Hello everyone. If you celebrate the holiday season, then I hope your enjoyed your as much as I did. We had a wonderful gathering, giving thanks for our blessings. I want to share with you my personal and financial blessings in 2024 made possible by the encouragement of the Saturday Savers Club.
I was excited to see the price of Hive rise and almost triple to over 40 cents. It's settled somewhat over the last few days. I'm cautiously optimistic and in a wait and see mode for the 2025 bull run.
I wanted to share my year in review offline as well as online.
But, first, for January, 2025, I powered up 6.032 liquid to start the new year.
2024 OFFLINE HIGHLIGHTS
Minimalist Activities.
Achieved a certain amount of clarity of thought and additional living space as I embarked on and completed several minimizing activities on my way to living a minimalist lifestyle.
Recognized my problem of purchasing and collecting antiques;
Broke two habits: stopped purchasing and discontinued reshuffling;
Created a mixed media art design titled "Trapped In Spaces" that detailed how I was trapped among my collectibles. The practice had spiraled out of control in terms of the livable space I required to accommodate my collections;
In May, I created a permanent minimalist plans to declutter not only my physical space, but mental space as well;
Completed several decluttering sessions utilizing the 90-90 Rule. As a result, I've discarded expired non-perishable and perishable items in my pantry and freezers. I've reorganized and transformed my spaces previously occupied by memorabilia, collectibles, books, and magazines by donating them to family members and/or charitable organizations; and finally,
Undertook two areas of my life that helped gain independence, sanity, and increased resources. I learned to say "NO" to family, friends, and anyone else who wanted me to extend myself beyond my capacity.
Emergency Survival Kit.
My bug-out bag has been inspected to ensure that my family is ready for 2025 severe weather events. Plagued with extreme weather such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and flooding in my area this year, we experienced several near misses as storms came ashore within fifty miles of our residence. Fortunately, we were spared heavy damage. I remain vigilant.
2024 ONLINE HIGHLIGHTS
Saturday Savers Club.
Week 52. Planning for 2025 has been ongoing with several excellent ideas from members taken into consideration. EDS Tokens replaced with EDSI.
An admin error occurred which led to EDS tokens being discontinued in December. The replacement Token is EDSI. The airdrop was completed. If you'd like more information on the new EDSI Token, visit: EDSI income token weekly report - 155.
SPI's Subscription Plan (Round 2)
Round 2 payments began in December, 2024 and will continue into 2025. This offer is exclusive to SSC members who are registered on the Savers Chart on the weekly Saturday Club post.
SPI's 2024 Subscription Savings Plan
Round 1's subscription plan was completed for 2024. Subscription Savings Plan Payouts were received as promised.
Comment Rewarder (CR).
This service @commentrewarder created in 2024, has impacted in a positive way engagement with my content as per the report from Behiver who produced the list outlining activity levels of the Top 100 authors utilizing the service. I plan to continue this service in 2025.
SPI's Redirection of its Hive Power.
Since @spinvest's decision to switch from delegating HP to curating with it for more consistent and passive income, the impact after the decision I feel has been positive, especially for members of SSC who enjoy the benefits of increased support.
Hive Power.
Completed two HP goals. Reached 21K HP; then 30K.
HBD.
Completed goal. Reached 500 HBD. Utilized that amount for crypto purchase.
Diesel (Liquidity) Pools.
A diesel pool is a holding place where two tokens are paired together. These pairs provide liquidity to investors in the form of a portion of the associates fees. Additional, tokens may be rewarded to who want to swap between the two tokens. The two tokens are paired at a 50:50 ratio, initially calculated based on the market price of the tokens at the time of adding to the diesel pool. In 2024, I was able to invest in 10 pools that can be found on TRIBALDEX.
XV.
Only 21 weeks left in this investment. I purchased 100 XV tokens during a 10-week sale and became owners in a diversified portfolio of carefully selected top-ranked cryptocurrencies. Saturday Savers Club (SSC) NO-BUY MONTH.
Participated in SSC's initiative. Setting goals for that month and outlining essential items to purchase resulted in my awareness of the direction and amount outgoing funds were being spent. Completing this challenge for the past three years was enjoyable. Challenging my self-control in several areas I was weakest helped gain self-awareness during the process and reached goals percentage wise.
After 52 weeks of the savings challenge, I'm thrilled that I stayed the course. This challenge was fun. Like anyone, I struggled at time. However, I kept the end goal in mind. As @eddie-earner advises, "slow and steady" is the key.
2025 GOALS
The Saturday Savers Club will kick off its 5th year and launch its 2025 Savings Challenge in mid-January. I plan to participate again utilizing SSC's Weekly Chart for savings. I've set out several goals below:
HBD: 1,000
EDSI: 1,000
HivePUD: Continue to participate monthly in Hive Power Up Day.
EDS-Vote: Continue to delegate to this project.
Diesel Pools: Increase liquidity in current pools and invest in additional ones.
Combination Weekly Draw. Continue to participate in @combination's efforts to assist @papilloncharity.

Just trying our best to help those that cannot help themselves. We are planning a new project, as 1457 children under the age of 5 died of malnutrition in the past 2 years. It is a complex situation, as it is a national situation, and some logistical issues will have to be solved, in order to deliver the nutritional meals to the affected areas. Many other problems, but nothing is impossible.
I will do a post once we have run a pilot and its results.

It was so great to read a review of your minimising and revising activities. I especially liked how you used the Trapped in Spaces art work to identify and understand what was happening. I remember reading about the 90/90 Rule - is that where something goes if you haven't used it for 90 days?
I am still on my minimising journey. I've just done my end of year clothing audit (clothing, knitting and art materials are where things can get out of control for me) to help make decisions. I've also done more work on my two bookshelves - I want to get from two to one to hold books and memoribilia.
Such a great summary of Saturday Savers Club with all the different aspects. I've really enjoyed planning next year with members and it has been great to have your input.

Hello @shanibeer. Thanks so much for your visit. Yes, we've had a long journey on Hive through the years. It's been a pleasure working with you in the Saturday Savers Club ever since reading about it in The Ink Well from your summary. I'm so glad I took a closer look and visited. It changed my perspective on saving. The Club provided access to Hive products that opened other investment opportunities I wouldn't have otherwise given attention to.
Yes, the 90/90 rule is just that: if not used in the past 90 days or foresee using in the next 90 days, then toss. I finally realized that minimalist lifestyle is not a quick sort and done task. It's a long journey and mindset change. I sit here at my computer and scour the room. I'm frustrated because all the work I completed in 2024 looks like I've regressed. It looks and feels more cluttered than when I began as I continue to sort through the books and magazines.

I agree, and sometimes I find it exhausting, especially the decision-making. It seems to be an ongoing process to refine what you already have, meanwhile, more things keep coming into the house. We'll get there.
lolol. Where did those buggers come from? But you are correct. The most difficult part of minimizing is the decision making. I tout to family and friends that I have my head on straight. But when it comes to my collections, I'm a total wreck, like in a maze and can't find the exit to reality with the only way out is to choose one item to bring back with me. Therein lies my dilemma!
Sometimes I have to laugh to keep insanity at bay. Lord help me in 2025. I do want to rise from the depths of clutter. Perhaps if I say it enough, something may happen before year-end.
