Trying Out EventBrite Alternatives (FREE)

in LeoFinance5 months ago

I have been searching for a web tool that can be used instead of Eventbrite for selling tickets to a free online webinar, and today I will share a few alternatives that do not charge for free tickets.

What we will need is:

  • A page where users can book their ticket to the event (in this case online)
  • A dashboard with analytics, how many people clicked and eventually booked the event
  • Where those people come from

Ideally, we would love it if we could have the data of people who will attend the online event, but this has to do with the software which will be used

Lets see a few alternatives

After you sign up, confirm your email and set your password, you are asked for certain information

It was very easy to create my first online event and you can book here :)

It was a very easy event to manage, but I would like to see more info in the dashboard, I could only see how tickets (and by ticket type) are sold and number of views

Now I ll create a ticketspice account

I liked the fact that i can create a subdomain

What I really liked about it, is that you choose from a template and you can customize anything at all.

It seems as if this website has many many more options to customize, so many that it may be over complicated to do so if you are just looking to create an event.

So far I was not able to publish the event page, I was asked to enter billing info even if it is a free event.

It turns out that you cannot create a free event, unless you have had a paid event before that

I believe that only users from US, Australia and Canada can sign up here, the site would not move on.

So far, I think that the simplest and best option is the TicketTailor app, I will make a few more tests and then I will probably use it if I do not find a better one.

If you have had any similar experience, please let me know!

Looking forward to seeing your future posts regarding tickettailor app as it seems quite promising and useful application.

The fact that we can customize anything makes it feel like we’re in total control or built it ourselves
Thanks for sharing

True :)
But sometimes simple is better

This is very good for people who will be having an event
It’s a good one
