LEO Roundtable #28: Is the Crypto Dip Meaningful? Price Predictions, Capitalizing on Bull Markets & New LeoFinance Developments

in LeoFinance4 years ago

This weekend, we met for another LEO Roundtable Podcast. The whole crypto market experienced a correction and many are wondering if it's a meaningful move. We analyze this and a myriad of factors related to how the market is moving right now.

We move on to discuss WLEO / LEO tokenomics - especially as they relate to exchange listings. LEO has such a low liquid supply that many wonder if we have the liquidity to list on various exchanges. In this episode, we explain the important tokenomic inflows/outflows that will accompany various exchange listings.

There are a lot of updates that have been rolling out each day for LeoFinance and many more that are on the way. These updates are changing the tokenomics and entire use case of the project. As we bring out these new features, the goal is to keep everyone informed about the current and future opportunities.

There's more happening for the project right now than ever before but there is even more on the horizon. The pace is fast, but there is a lot of work to be done in order to capitalize on the crypto bull market we'll see in the coming months/years.

The episode turned out to be 2 hours and 15 minutes long. A bit shorter than our last one, but still - a 7gb file that is a bit too big for 3speak. Stay tuned for the highlights that follow this episode as we clip the podcast and post them up on 3speak.

I think exchange listings are what will really drive the price of this coin and I'm glad this is being worked on.

If (hopefully when) the bull market comes we really need to take advantage of it to not only bring attention here but get the site ready for the long run to survive (and thrive) the next bear market that might follow.

I agree. The exchange listings will undoubtedly raise our value and liquidity. The question is something we talked about during the podcast - can we create lasting and slow-grinding value increases as opposed to pumps and dumps?

This is always the goal for LEO / WLEO and LeoFinance. Build a real project on solid business practices and fundamentals as opposed to pump schemes like most other crypto "projects"

The exchange listings are also amazing for exposure (especially if it is from a major exchange). We really need to make it easier for people to buy LEO by the time altcoin craze begin.

I also like to keep it simple too, like you guys have discussed. BTC ethreum and Leo. It's makes it easier to keep a tight eye on the market.
Wow 2 hours plus, that's gotta be long, maybe you'd consider shortening it for 3speak

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha they are long but a lot of fun. I usually break them down into segments and post those on 3speak but have had a tough time managing the workload for this and all the other stuff. I'm bringing someone new in to help me with these tasks so hopefully that means you'll see more clips and more content from me in general :)

No hassles Khal I know you have a lot on your plate lol, the sessions are actually fun no doubt. Looking forward to seeing more

To be honest, these videos are getting so long and so convoluted that they are losing their value.

It might be time to consider breaking things up and embarking upon a different format.

Personally, if your intention is to get information out to the public about LEO, I think there might more effective ways to do it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah I think we tend to talk about LEO a lot just because of our involvement with it but the goal has always been for wider coverage on stocks/crypto.

Luckily, I don't have to do much of the work here. Just upload. Only issue is that 2hr + podcasts make for 6gb+ file sizes and 3speak won't even accept those. Upload time is usually 8-12 hours for these to YouTube. We are getting decent views over there 🤷🏽‍♂️

I would suggest putting together another video on the LEO related stuff. Let the roundtable be for the wider audience and the other, perhaps call it the Leo Report, which details what is taking place with LEO.

That could be something you do on your own, maybe once a week, or with someone else. Either way, it provides ongoing updates over maybe a 30 minute period.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Things come up either way. I'll always try to put out my own standalone content, but if questions about different features come up during the roundtable, I won't ignore them.

I think there is so much happening that we all need refreshers at times. It's fun to leave this multi-hour podcasts up because I know there's an audience for them.

Getting someone to help me work on clipping/uploading various segments right now. That'll help with breaking up the content into smaller chunks for people who want only LEO stuff, etc.

It's a good idea to divide the videos by topic!

Yeah i think these are a good way to appeal to people outside of LEO and to have them see that there's real people committed to moving LEO. I enjoy watching them, as I've said before. The free flowing manner and even the chemistry between you are what makes them entertaining and valuable since there's also the right amount of diversity between characters and each one provide different insights.

I said on another conversation that HIVE needs something like that actually. While I respect taskmaster for his commitment to hyping HIVE and some of their projects, his content has no continuation factor. It's mainly... shilling.. and ... only to a HIVE audience.. so that's kind of a lot of effort to convert the already converted. I don't get why him and Dan don't add a couple more heads and do a weekly round table of Hive and start to build momentum.

That damn Hive needs some help!

i like this format. but i am a podcast listening type. and i usually listen long format videos when working something else.
maybe it is not the most effective for Leo marketing specifically.

When Nixon took the US dollar off the gold standard he was just acknowledging a fact. The dollar had been overprinted for quite some time already.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I added to my positions in bitcoin and Eth, but mostly just dollar averaging but I did bump it up a bit. Just keep pouring my HIVE and LEO into staking LEO and building my dCity. Good to see all the improvements in LeoFiance. Keep up the good work!

The news that the HIVE community is reading and hearing from the LeoFinance.io community, are very encouraging and hopeful not only for crypto lovers, but also for HIVE as it is effort and the advances they have made adds value to the whole beehive.

Congratulations for the achievements and the seriousness with which they carry out the project.

a really very intense episode of news.

from my experience, the listing on the exchange is necessary but we have to make sure that they list us, a bit like what happened with Hive.

or focus on some well-targeted, without bleeding out of expenses because in addition to a pump, the listing noj will have long-term effects if not supported by developments and perhaps collaborations with international companies

i know almost nothing about site building and optimization, but maybe you could contact someone on travelfeed.io as it looks like they did something good for the seo ranking. i know it is a different type of content but.
As you started to talk about this i did some searches of my content, and over 50% published on travelfeed is in the first or second google page. some are specific but:
If you search for Cats Corfu my post is right after tripadvisor and facebook
All my Corfu posts are in the first 2 pages on google.
And all other posts are ranked good on the searches, and the travelfeed site is low on Alexa ranging.
So most probably they did something right, because i know i did nothing special for those posts.

travelfeed.io

holy crap I've never taken a look at that and now that I did I got to say that it's so well presented. That's exactly how I wish peakD looked. So clean and full of inviting content. It's a bummer that travel has taken a hit this year because they're really onto a successful blog formula there.

they did some good things, and there are some that need to be polished. but i was surprised with my google search ranking from that site.

we were talking about adding some recommended posts next to the post you are reading to peakd in communities as they now have an option for a curation page them. so "admins" can now make their best of posts

also notifications for comments. i replay most of the time on peakd because i see comments notifications there. sometimes i do extra effort to go to leo to replay but it is an extra step.

We're in a little break from the bear, currently at $17.7K, but don't let it fool you. We have more to dump. Between China confiscating, the 20 day MA still not retested and Coinbase FUD, we will go down before we go up. $15k next week.

Good to see within all the nonsense discussed on our calls alot of good stuff comes out of it. How you got this out already is impressive.

Never stop putting these time stamps. It's a life saver when I'm too busy to watch everything and want to focus on the most interesting parts like Microblogging. This is something I'm totally hyped for. Calling it a game canger almost feel like an understatement.

Nice! I like LeoFinance very much, I think the work you are doing is incredible! I delegate HivePower to LeoVoter, post frequently, uping LeoPower and curating too. I'm also enjoying Leo's performance rendiment's at Uniswap. I plan to allocate more Leo to Uniswap as I win here! Thanks for LeoFinance and for the tips! I made good money with Rune, which I learned by reading your posts and tips! Good vibes! Leo to the moon! 🚀🚀🦁🦁
