Hey, everyone! Being rewarded for onboarding and guiding new users is a great motivator to help grow the ecosystem. However, rewards also attract bad actors. For this reason, we’ve had to implement safety mechanisms to protect the referral rewards from being abused by bot activity.
In this clip:
- Protecting the referral program from abuse
- Accounts that don’t appear human will result in a ban from the referral program
- Manual appeal available if banned by the system
To prevent abuse of the referral rewards, our system analyzes the activity of referrals. If they don’t engage or don’t seem human, it will flag the referrer’s account as potentially using AI or bots to create accounts, and that account won’t be able to claim rewards.
If your account is mistakenly banned, you’ll need to manually appeal so the referrals can be verified and the account unbanned. There’s no public guide detailing exactly what’s required to claim rewards because that could allow abusers to find ways to bypass the safety mechanisms.
These boundaries were necessary to protect the referral system from abuse. As long as you’re onboarding real humans, you should be able to claim rewards without issues, as many are already doing.

It is important to plug leaks in any project, the parameter so that you are not banned in the referral rewards system was made very clear: "Onboard Humans"

Few days back i created a new account token.burn using my inleo referral.
The account was not created to get referral rewards. Account creation is easy in INLEO :-)
This new account is more of an experiment to accumulate and burn HE tokens. It's more generic and different.
Accumulation is done by adding token.burn account as beneficiary to the post anyone creates with a small percentage say 1% or 2%
After 7 days, when your post is paid, token.burn will also recieve the tokens.
The first burn is expected to happen on 28th feb.
I have been adding token.burn as 5% beneficiary to all the posts i write (except actifit posts)

I think this is perfectly fair for everyone Mr Khal 🫡👍
Although I just know some dude is gonna get banned for referring their super introverted friend who never engages 🤣
Thankfully they can appeal so that's fire🔥
He'll be like Bro, I swear he’s real, He just hates talking 🤣🤣🤣 #jokesonleo😁
This could be another factor that's been driving the LEO price to rock bottom. Need to start protecting the price action of LEO and get it moving in a positive direction again.
