Like you have the down arrow on the bottom left. Isn't that the device option for hiding your keyboard?

With apps, the content usually adjusts up so the keyboard doesn't cover the content while typing. If I click the down arrow, the keyboard is gone and all I can do then is voice to text, which we all know is horrible.
ah maybe we can find a way to fix that then what kind of device is it?
I'd certainly appreciate it if it's possible. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G
