in LeoFinancelast year

I feel horrible for all those effected

It shows that there is yet another reason why real #web3 on LEO through Hive needs to succeed. To protect people from scams like this

Sort:

There's a cloud storage system that I saw somewhere that has privatized encryption. The contents can only be viewed by the client. Even the company does not have the keys to unlock your contents. Each account would have to be hacked.

That's very cool

Not your keys, not your storage

@michaelklinejr Isn't it "NextCloud"? They have a good reputation even among the self-hosting community, and are open source. Nevertheless, the best way to protect data is to never upload them to any cloud :-)

Yep. They even advertised the point that they could not decrypt your contents for law enforcement because they have no way to do so. Law enforcement would have to get you to let them in from the client.

Of course, lose your keys, lose your contents, so be super responsible about those keys.

maybe talking about cubbit.io? 👀

man, feel bad about it.

Just about two days ago I've written that blog where i literally said this SocialFi rise and more new Dapps is just gonna bring more of exploits, hacks and rugs.

Too bad for #crypto.

Yeah we will always see hacks and rugs in crypto

The average user needs to be vigilant. I think time-tested platforms like #hive & #leo will win in the long-run

It's also why I never put even a cent on a project I haven't seen the evolution of for some months... #StarsArena

Any Rug-Pull in these days it's called "security issue in smart contract" :DDDD

What's really crazy is people still fall for this crap.

chai... is sad, friend, HiHive remain tthe Best
