We've had some pretty hefty requests on the INLEO UI
Pair this with both #hive Node issues and #he node issues and we have had one helluva week. It's been a struggle
But new updates to the backend have been implemented along with some protection to the frontend. We found that some bots were making heavy requests on our caching database and frontend. Implemented some roadblocks for them and I've already noticed a speed improvement
Look on the bright side, it can only get better
100%. It exposed some critical infrastructure improvements that now speed up the UI
What kind of bots?
Unclear, but not friendly ones
Thanks for the heads up. Wonder what bots are doing those heavy requests.
Nice. I have enjoyed the experience.
Sorry you had a rough week improving the infrastructure.
But I think we can all appreciate your hardwork.
We have a small team and feel for you guys.
Only up from here 🦁
Things seem to be working far smoother now, so thanks for applying the fix!
Definitely testing times for you and the team as it must be frustrating having issues crop up when everything was running so well.
The only frustrating part is when there are systemic issues that aren't being addressed and are simultaneously out of our control
Other issues that are related to us are great. I love those. Then we know what to address and we improve from there
Regardless, we're working on LeoNode and attempting to build something that can bypass all these toehr issues
I figured it was something out of your control.
Just remember you are doing important work, Leo/Threads could easily be the app that shows people what web3 can be. We may be a long way away but if the tech progresses enough by the time bitcoin reaches ATH and people are asking about crypto again, I have a feeling our user base will multiply very very quickly.
Definitely some rough days, glad to see you guys are on top of it, I think this is good news anyway, you can almost smell the momentum, crypto is quickly gaining steam again...
The cryptosphere is watching closely, people are noticing the lions.
