We’ve realized that the utility of PolyCub is in the multi-token bridge. PHBD showed us just how powerful this idea is for pHBD liquidity and for PolyCUB value accrual.
DeFi 1.0 is about high inflation, low value accrual.
DeFi 2.0 is about low inflation, high value accrual.
We’re about to see PolyCub make an example out of this as we migrate to this new vault structure with the launch of pHBD ✅, pHIVE 🕦 and pSPS 🕦

It will be interesting to see how much HIVE ends up moving to pHIVE.
Any reason that we are going to have a pHIVE-POLYCUB pool as opposed to USDC.

I spoke a lot with @edicted about this.
Looking at sustainable models to build PolyCub, it makes far more sense to pair every vault on the platform with PolyCub.
For example, look at Thorchain. Everything is paired against rune which means all the value accrual happens to rune.
Some BTC maxis are afraid to LP on Thorchain because they don’t want RUNE exposure.
I’m sure this could happen with some people who don’t want exposure to POLYCUB and LP their hive. Despite this, the yield will be so high that it will be hard to turn your nose away from high yield. And if you do, someone else won’t.
I’m very excited about this new model of pairing all vaults against POLYCUB. With the exception of pHBD which will become the #1 stablecoin vault across all of PolyCub.

That makes a lot of sense.
It is important to get the value heading into POLYCUB so that it will enhance the entire platform. When PC is higher, it will lift everything else.

How about a pHIVE-pHBD pool?

That would be really perfect.
