He colluded with exchanges, he attacked our governance, he installed hostile witness nodes. He used his entire repertoire to try and take control of this community. We responded by rallying together and voting up our duly elected witnesses and created a stalemate on the Steem blockchain.
After weeks of trying to make the best of the situation and work with Justin, we found that he was abusive, corrupt and highly unmotivated to cooperate with the Steem community and our elected witnesses.
The community’s solution? Fork over to our own blockchain and give Justin Sun, his sock puppets and Steemit, Inc. the boot. They can enjoy an empty blockchain over on Steem as all of our amazing apps and developers, businesses and content creators move to Hive.

Yep! I think I might be the first one to get a 3speak video posted through Hive because I checked the video uploaded a few minutes before mine and it was posted to Steem ;)
Also, Steemleo.com is now posting to hive as well. I think we'll see the vast majority of apps moving completely to hive in the next few days
Well i was going to upload a gameplay video , it took 3 hours to upload on 3speak and at last showed error :D
xD maybe you got caught up while they were still making some tweaks and your upload got cancelled midway through.

This is really exciting! A lot of things are obviously still confusing and weird, but it's great to see so much support for this "new" blockchain. I've definitely got a new home, though!
It's kind of fun in a way, right? It's sad to leave Steem behind but I'm finding that emotion to be drown out by the excitement of something new and shiny. The HIVE logo next to https://peakd.com posts is a strange thing to see, but I'm already getting comfortable with it and it's refreshing to see.
Let's hope that we can leave the whole Steem thing behind pretty quickly and adapt to Hive for real. So many opportunities ahead!

Steemit has become of of the worst cases of self-sabotage. @tarazkp literally had himslef downvoted by @steemit (with 29 million SP) Checked the block explorer and turns out the account has gone on a downvote rampage on some of the most popular posts of recent days.
I honestly thought STEEM might still have a chance to prosper into something decent. It turns out that the new owner of Steemit is a crybaby with soft ego that can win an Olympic medal for shooting himself on the foot with a grenade launcher.
I saw some of those downvoted on @tarazkp and others. It seems that Hive is the new “third rail” you mention it in a post and if you are a popular writer you may get electrocuted.
It’s really turning into a storm.
