In today's episode of the weekly LeoFinance AMA, we have a launch party for Polygon Hive (pHIVE). pHIVE is the second vault deployment in our V2 vault release for PolyCub.
Our thesis with V2 is around migrating PolyCUB to a platform filled with intense value accrual from all angles.
In the early days of PolyCUB, the primary vaults were Kingdoms. Kingdoms allow users to deploy assets onto other protocols and earn their yield + POLYCUB yield.
The issue that we discovered is that the value accrual from Kingdoms only comes from one source: a 10% management fee on the yield generated from Kingdoms assets.

The current market dip hasn't been good for anyone but it is great to see stables holding their own. I think if pHBD and HBD can hold tight through this crash it will prove that it is a superior product and service.

Polycub now gets the pHive on the polygon network. The APR is higher as it's getting pooled, so more demand for polycub. My metamask is doing many transaction today, but the good thing is fees are minimum !

With the new features coming to PolyCUB, the excitement increases even more. And it's really exciting to see pHive and pHBD in PolyCUB. These are great steps forward. It will significantly help the pHIVE and pHBD Hive ecosystem in particular. Maybe many people are not aware of this at the moment, but they will realize it more clearly when the liquidity pools grow in the future. So it seems adding pHive has the desired effect on polyCub price because of the increased demand for Pcub to pool it with hive and the high APR
Keep in mind that the higher Pcub price, the more APR for pHBD/USDC.

Exactly right. POLYCUB gains value accrual and utility from 5 mechanisms with the pHIVE pool vs. Kingdoms where it only had 1 method.
V2 vaults like pHIVE-POLYCUB will continue to deliver massive value for PolyCUB in the long run. All of that value ultimately delivers on more sustainability and growth for the base token of the platform (POLYCUB).

It's a great work being done by the LeoFinance dev team having pools like this that generally benefit Hive & Polycub protocol. And it is interesting to see what else are coming after pSPS.

This PolyCUB development that is bringing about PHIVE is strategic and I see it postively affecting HIVE and POLYCUB price on the long run.
The pHIVE-POLYCUB liquidity may hit the $1 million size faster than any vault on PolyCUB.
Is this about CubFinance? That would be cool. At least we can be sure of a $0.5 CUB in a few weeks ahead.
