Somewhere we crossed a threshold where technology was generally used as a tool of convenience or advancement, to a new era where technology is created and funded as human replacement. The clear danger here is an even stronger concentration of wealth and legions of unemployed and increasingly angry people.

Technology has ALWAYS been used as a means of increasing productivity which is another way of saying reducing human labor. How many people with shovels did the bulldozer replace? Don't get me started on electricity or the wheel.

Yeah... I'm kind of excited and afraid at the same time... Well, there's no going back now, so here's praying for the best.

Kind of a dilemma at the moment, you are right.
