I shared a blog post last week explaining how I am Building My Own "Passive Income Empire" on Hive Blockchain and I just added one more token to my list!
I am talking about EDS Miners (or EDSM), the official miner of EDS token.
Why I bought EDS Miners
First of all, I am holding around 100 EDS tokens for months now. EDS tokens generate me a weekly passive income paid in Hive and this income is slowly but steadily growing.
I used to earn around 0.230 Hive/Week when the project fist launched but now I am earning more than 0.270 Hive/Week for simply holding those EDS in my Hive wallet!
Now, the reason that I bought these EDS Miners is that @eddie-earner is not selling those EDS tokens on Hive-Engine exchange for 1 Hive anymore. The only way to get your hands on some EDS right now is to either buy them on Hive-Engine (1.29999 Hive/EDS) or buy some EDS Miners and ... mine
I aleady bought my EDS stake at 1 Hive so I decided to go with the second option.
I bought 20 EDS Miners for 10 Hive each and staked them so I can earn those sweet mining rewards every 8 hours.
If I understand corectly, miners are sharing a fixed reward pool of 5000 EDS/year but rewards are paid out every 8 hours to those who bought and staked EDS Miners.
This means that those who buy their EDS Miners first will earn a nice chunk of EDS every 8 hours until all miners are sold since the reward pool is fixed to 5000 EDS/year. Or am I missing something out?

I got 20 staked on my main account too! Got in 4 hours after announcement post, got 3, woke up to another and then just before got another 2. So far that is about 1.38 EDS mined in a day from getting in early, adding to the 236 I already have from buying at 1 hive!
It's a solid one to hold from an early point for the passive income, because getting more EDS from mining means more tokens to go up in value, plus more passive weekly income as that keeps growing. :)
