Investor Mindset: Stoicism

in LeoFinance19 days ago

Stoicism is a Philosophical School founded in Athens (Greece). Furthermore, this philosophy had great influence in Rome. Discipline, Courage, Endurance and Emotional Control are Stoic Virtues that were essential to Roman military success.

The interesting thing is that despite its age, some of the Stoic principles can be assimilated (and adapted) to be used today by investors in the Crypto Market.

The Crypto Market is characterized by being extremely volatile and having high levels of risk.

However, Crypto Investors can use Stoic philosophical principles to successfully navigate the Financial Market.

Crypto Investors can use Stoic principles for the following purposes:

Control emotions to avoid impulsive decisions: do not get carried away by the fear of losses or the greed for quick profits.

Maintain mental serenity in crises to make rational decisions.

Become aware of the uncertainty inherent in financial markets and accept what cannot be controlled.

Be patient and strengthen financial discipline.

Focus on our own financial progress and not compare ourselves to other investors.

Be resilient in the face of temporary losses and failures in the world of investment.

Learn from mistakes and perfect our investment strategy.

These and other Stoic principles adapted to investing activity can be a powerful tool for achieving success.
