RE: REMOTE JOB OR WORK FULL TIME ? || MY PREFRENCE AND WHY

There are also jobs that are both full-time and remote. I am a senior 3D animator looking to transition to the game development industry. As such, I have a pending job application in a game studio that offers full-time work, plus training and company-issue desktop computers, and a permanent work-from-home arrangement.

I would love this... I would also love the fact of being able to switch between going to work every day and also staying at home.. because sometimes someone might need that routine feel or a change of work environment...

Wow.. Being a 3D animator is cool bro! To be in the game development industry, what did you need to learn?..

I am still applying to become a game artist. But I have been in animation since 1998. I started out as a cartoon animator. Then after five years of doing that, I shifted to 3D animation in 2005. The skills I have as a 3D artist/animator are the same skills one needs to be in game development, but with some changes in the workflow.

Oh, I thought in game development, one would need to learn to program for the functionality of the game. You have been this for a very very very long time... Long before I even know anything like Money existed.

Coding is the game programmers' job. I am on the creative/artistic side of development. Yes, I've been an artist since I was four years old. But, ironically, I took Computer Science in college instead of Fine Arts. So, that's why can thrive in technical environments as well as artistic/creative ones.

oh I see things clearly now... Thank you!

So the beautiful features and how the character looks like is what you do..
