In the last month or so I was selected to give a talk on a blockchain project of mine at an engineering conference. It was my first time doing this kind of thing so I was nervous. I quickly realized that even amongst "experts" people really still didn't understand the basics of blockchain (or at least cared enough to learn it). Advocacy for a platform may require a whole lot more work than we give it credit for.
