To be honest, for a long time, except for these three weeks, I have not written comments anywhere, neither in the Hive, nor on Facebook, nor on any forums. There was a division of some comments into spam and flood. Spam is an understandable thing when a person scribbles the same thing, and flooding is some departure from the topic of the post. The flood was only bad for those who were looking for, say, targeted buyers, and it was distracting.
I think that in order to get interaction indicators, you should even rejoice at the flood. If people feel comfortable on your page and do not stray far from the topic of conversation, this, in any case, has a positive effect on your popularity and, as they say, in SEO content optimization.
It seemed to me that you often receive spam? You have already repeated this phrase several times during our communication and it looks like spam. Don't be offended, there are things to get used to. That was a lot to take in. My point was, engagement is great but if someone is just commenting one word or "great post", is it really meaningful? Or is it just a way to climb the comment rank?
Look I get wanting to be at the top of the list, but I think it can be done with genuine conversation. I'd rather discuss the actual topic than read a bunch of "great post" comments.
I wasn't saying you're spamming or anything like that. I just wanted to point out that we can have real, engaged conversations, that are much more valuable than just a "good job".
As far as me spamming, nah. I may repeat things I find important here and there but I'm not running around copy-pasting the same thing on a bunch of posts. I genuinely enjoy this.
