I've been considering changing my work schedule to have less of a commute.
eliminate the commute if possible. Look for work from home jobs. Take your time back
There's a portion of my job that must be done in person. The commute is not so bad for Southern California Standards. 18 minutes there, and 18 minutes back... but only if there's no traffic.
right. Plus gas prices!
I'm less inclined to take on new obligations too. Asking me to commit what time I have left needs to have greater and greater value as I get older.
