got this "This Is Spinal Tap" DVD for free. seems to be selling in the $100 - $200 range. wild that someone would pay that much for a DVD but they do.

physical media is making a comeback. pay attention. #business

Sort:

physical media is on the rise for sure

subscription fatigue is setting in. everyone is tired of digital shit because it gets taken away randomly. everything has a monthly cost..

we had such a beautiful thing with just a few subscription services... But we went waaaaaaaaaaay too far

that and they keep changing things.
they changed a scene in Lilo & Stitch and that was the last straw for me.

it's like Hollywood is on a rampage to ruin all the classics

Those who have the habit of saving and preserving certain things... Sometimes the future can reward you in very interesting ways.

But we know that some things have no price, but value.

After what Apple & its iTunes Store did to Bruce Willis when he wanted to will his music collection to his children, it makes perfect sense 2go w/ physical media (optical, magnetic, wax). Amazon has been known to remove books from Kindles.

yep. we're seeing people get tired of that shit. subscription fatigue is setting in and people are tired of their digital content being yoinked away.

Maybe 12-albums-for 1-cent from Columbia House subscriptions can make a comeback? That can help in making physical media great again.

aw man I forgot about that

I guess this is good for your business!

How is that going? Still making a few $k/months?

oh yeah. consistently averaging $5-6k/month in sales. pushing for $7-8k next month.

Online media might get more hype but physical media will always remain relevant
