It's okay to work for others provided you're leveling up skills and connections by doing so. First, part of career is basically this. I'd probably put it ahead of getting a bigger bag for the first few years.
oh yeah insurance is a straight up scam. of course livable wage is a moving target. Just like salaries should be. I'm not saying the janitor needs to make as much as the doctor. It should be above poverty though, and adjusted based on cost of living increasing.
On the other hand, without these companies, these jobs wouldn't exist and people wouldn't be able to make a living wage at all. The other side of the coin always exists.
Working for a wage and benefits is a sucker's game. One which I have fallen for most of my life :-)
That is slowly changing and more rapidly each day. I am trying to transition to working for myself or equity in someone else's venture :-)
same, trying to do it before i'm 30
Good Luck! I'm a wee bit past 30. Slow learner ;-)

I certainly agree with that, but work to escape that should start early on in life rather than later :-)
Like any addiction, the second best time to get on the road to recovery is now.
😀
I disagree with the entire concept of insurance.
and a "living wage" is a moving target.
this mindset is painful and normally they are not willing to have a real conversation about it.

true, the adjusted to cost of living can be tough as it can lead to hyperinflation.
It is worth discussing and improving upon.
but making successful people "villians" is not the way.
you want a a real "super villian" one word "Fauci"
1000% fauci is Dr. Evil lol
I'm not dying I have the answers but the current system is kinda fucked

of course. they should pay their employees a livable wage, though
Indeed, there are ways to do this. Even distributing a small fraction (1%) of their own earnings among their employees would be a big boost!
yep, most companies would never consider doing anything like that for their employees
Have no fear, those workers will be replaced by technology and then they can whine about not being paid a "living wage".
wait til the robots go on strike
Wanting more energy per hour.
They're definitely villains who have slaves but legally.
legal slaves fr
