Rising star: best strategy for first 10 levels

in LeoFinance11 months ago (edited)

Today, I'm going to share with you the strategy to reach level 10 in Rising Star as quickly as possible. This strategy has two aspects: one without investment and the other involving an investment of around 100k starbits, which is 0.5 hive.

As you may already know, this game allows you to earn its token, starbits, and starpro without any prior investment, just by playing the game. However, if you decide to invest a bit, for example, a fraction of the cost of the Splinterlands spellbook, the improvement in your game benefits would be substantial, and you would already have various game assets.

Let's start with the strategy without making any investment:

These are the missions of the game:

The starting point is, obviously, mission 1 "illegal busking," and there's no secret here other than completing this mission until you reach level 2.

This opens up the next mission, "open mic night,"

and the strategy remains straightforward for those who don't want to invest in enhancing the gaming experience. For just 5% more energy, you get double the experience. So now, it's just a matter of repeating this mission over and over until you reach level 5.

Remember that when maximizing experience gained per energy spent, it's more interesting to wait until your energy reaches 20 points and then perform this mission, instead of doing the "illegal busking" mission.

At level 5, you'll find your star mission, "Mid Week Support Slot,"

which grants 51 experience for only 35% energy. From now on, until level 10, this is the mission to undertake if you're trying to maximize the experience gained per energy spent.

The mission that opens at level 8, "busking with a license," gives more experience, 93 instead of 51, but it also requires more energy—65 instead of 35.

So, "Busking with a license" gives 1.43 experience per energy point, and "Mid Week Support Slot" gives approximately 1.46 per experience point. Moreover, by completing two missions of the latter, you'll, on average, earn more starbits than completing "Busking with a license."

In case you were wondering, the "illegal busking" mission grants 0.66 experience points per energy point consumed, and "Open mic night" grants one experience point per energy point.

Something you should consider to ensure steady progress is that to access the next map called "Local Gig Circuit," you must have completed each mission on the "Home town" map. Additionally, one condition for performing the new mission, besides level, fans, and energy, is to have completed the previous mission eight times, so keep this in mind.

For the second strategy, a small investment of 100k starbits is required, and these starbits need to be used to purchase the following cards.

These cards are to ensure that you don't have to worry about the energy you are spending.

The pizza box allows you to store discarded pizzas obtained in missions, which regenerate your energy up to 100%, for use at your convenience.
On the other hand, the energy boost allows you to regenerate your energy to 100% whenever you want, but the drawback is that you have to wait 24 hours before using it again. That's why I recommend purchasing two pizza boxes and one energy boost, ensuring that you'll likely never run out of energy.
Pizza box costs around 30k starbits and energy boost around 35k.

Now that energy is not an issue, there's no need to maximize experience per energy point. The goal now is to maximize both experience and starbits gained in the shortest time possible.

Surprise, surprise, the star mission now is mission 1, "illegal busking." Even though you get one less energy point for a 25-minute investment, you'll complete 5 missions instead of 1, multiplying the starbits earned and the chances of getting a discarded pizza to store in your pizza box.

Another tip is not to exceed 1000 fans, as once you reach this number, the game introduces another variable that limits your starbit capture rate—the EGO. Unless you're willing to increase your investment to make this variable a non-issue, it's in your interest to delay the introduction of this variable into the game as much as possible, either by reaching level 15 or reaching 1000+ fans.

Following this gameplay approach, you'll easily reach level 10 by the third day and can start taking on different types of missions, such as music lessons, which we'll discuss on another occasion.
