RUNE continues to struggle, with the price dipping further to $1.20 amid ongoing uncertainty. After the protocol effectively declared bankruptcy and froze LP and Saver funds, the team is now working on making tradeable debt available for affected users. While this crisis unfolds, Thorchain has still been handling massive trading volumes, including transactions linked to the Bybit ETH hack.
This has sparked heated debate. Some voices pushed for censoring the movement of these stolen funds, but the majority of nodes voted to uphold the chain’s decentralized principles. As a result, several nodes unhappy with this decision have churned out, adding even more instability to the network.
With all this chaos, RUNE’s price action reflects the uncertainty. While there was a brief relief rally, the overall trend remains downward, and confidence is shaky. Is there more pain ahead, or have we found a bottom?
