It has been a long-time in the making but we are finally ready to release the PolyCUB Airdrop to CUB stakeholders. In less than 12 hours, we're going to see the first in a series of inter-blockchain CubFinance outposts released. The first is a Polygon-based application called PolyCUB.
In the past 7 months, we've researched, designed and developed PolyCUB from the ground up. Pulling inspiration from all of the top DeFi projects in the industry that have achieved sustainable growth and set out on long-term, ambitious roadmaps.
CUB has had an interesting journey as it started as a simple yield farming applciation, migrated to yield optimization (Kingdoms) and now is finally fulfilling its base mission: The base layer of LeoFinance's DeFi stack.
As the base of this DeFi stack, CUB is the benefactor to the airdrops of every DeFi platform that we launch. We're calling these inter-blockchain outposts for a reason. This strategy is to launch self-sustaining bases on all EVM blockchains in existence.
PolyCUB is the first of many that we're launching. POLYCUB is designed from the ground up to be self-sustaining. As discussed in the previous post on @leofinance and extensively in the POLYCUB docs, the platform was built with one major goal in mind: long-term, deflationary tokenomics to create sustainability and a base that we can deploy across every single EVM chain in existence.
Track, Grow and Learn About the POLYCUB Airdrop
The time has come for the first airdrop to CUB holders. This is a $1,000,000 airdrop to anyone staking CUB in one of 3 places:
- CUB Kingdom
- CUB-BUSD Farm
- CUB-BNB Farm
All 3 of these places are eligible for the POLYCUB airdrop. Obviously the CUB Kingdom is 100% eligible for the airdrop and the CUB-BUSD and CUB-BNB Farms are 50% eligible (50% of your total position being CUB and 50% being either BNB or BUSD).
On the new https://cubdefi.com/airdrop page, you can see your total staked CUB Balance and the current USD value.
To the right, you'll see your total Pending Airdrop for POLYCUB tokens. This will automatically factor in any changes to your CUB holdings!
You'll see the real-time amount of POLYCUB coming to you based on how much CUB your address holds in:
- CUB Kingdom
- CUB-BUSD Farm
- CUB-BNB Farm
How to Participate in the $1,000,000 POLYCUB Airdrop!
Participating in the airdrop is super easy, as it says on the airdrop page.
1). Buy CUB
Buying CUB is easy! Just head over to Pancakeswap (https://pancakeswap.finance/swap), import the CUB token contract address and then swap any BSC asset for CUB tokens!
2). Stake CUB
Stake CUB in any of the 3 eligible locations:
- CUB Kingdom
- CUB-BUSD
- CUB-BNB
Once your CUB is staked in any of these 3 places, you can head over to https://cubdefi.com/airdrop and see your pending POLYCUB airdrop increase!
Claim Airdrop!
Remember, the POLYCUB airdrop is a daily snapshot every single day for 60 days following the launch of POLYCUB. A snapshot is taken every day and then autonomously distributed to every stakeholder of CUB.
Once a day or whenever you feel like claiming your airdrop (it will auto accumulate in your balance), you can head over to https://cubdefi.com/airdrop and claim your airdrop on the Polygon network!

Good question! It's a linear airdrop simply based on how much CUB you have. More CUB = more airdrop. If your CUB balance changes (up or down) throughout the airdrop period, then your airdropped amount each day will update on the next daily snapshot to reflect tbat

I have my cubs through trustwallet, hope there wouldn't be an issue with claiming my polycubs?

I think there was supposed to be a snapshot, but since Khal said he modeled it after the SPS airdrop, I think you can add more to earn more.
Trustwallet should be fine! You just need CUB staked in one of those 3 places. Yes, just like SPS - if your balance changes day to day between snapshots, then the next snapshot will reflect your updated balance
Amazing, that is exactly what I wanted to know. Mirroring the SPS model is actually sustainable and good, gives users more incentives to hold than to dump.

No. But there's an indirect way. Buy LEO on HE. You can convert LEO tokens to bLEO and bridge them to BSC via this - https://wleo.io/bsc
Then you can exchange bLEOs to CUBs via Pancakeswap

Best way is to buy LEO on Hive Engine, wrap to bLEO using https://wleo.io/bsc and then buy CUB
with a little venture capital you can give it a try... I'll take a look at it tomorrow

What time will the airdrop become available every day? If you could answer with both a US timezone and the UTC that would be great. lol
Also, question number two: Does unharvested CUB get counted in the snapshot? I'm assuming not but thought I'd ask.
One more thing...the word "participate" is misspelled in the bottom box of the "airdrop" page. Just thought I'd point it out since I'm sure that page will be getting a lot of traffic in the days ahead...

They may not wanna say the exact time to prevent people from gaming the system and only staking 5 minutes before the daily snapshot or something.
Also, unharvested rewards typically do not count toward any kind of earnings, so probably not, sorry. :/

Myeah, that's what it seems like, though, a reason to fomo and pump it rather than to also reward those who stayed vested in the past.
Airdrops are hard to get right but I do agree that long-term holders should have gotten some form of special treatment. Most of them got rekt hard but maybe the price appreciation will make things a bit better, if it keeps rising that is.

I do agree that rewarding long time time holders for their loyalty with something extra would have been greatly appreciated. But they probably are doing this slow drip feed way instead to do 2 things:
-Avoid a huge flood of new supply and a sudden large dump from it
-Gives people an incentive to BUY CUB and keep holding for an extended period, so it should help against selloffs for a couple months
But tehri are pros and cons no matter what way it is done of course, just wanted to mention that there are some upsides of this way.

Question, since this is a daily drop for 60 days, if let's say "address A" had no cub on the first day of the Airdrop, and "address B" had cub at the beginning, then, along the line, address A buys cub some day in-between and stake, is the address eligible to receive the next airdrop? And also, if address B buys more and stake, is that counted in for the next airdrop?
I think the answer to your questions is 'yes' :)

I'm truly lost here. I bought CUB, (very small amount to understand the process) and from my trust wallet I used pancake swap for a small CUB/BNB farm. what should I do to get polycub? Cub noob here :)
