LeoFinance is a blockchain-based social media platform for crypto & finance content where users and creators to engage and share content on the blockchain while earning LEO token rewards.

If you are a content creator on Hive, odds are that you have heard of Leo Finance and you know a fair bit about that blogging platform built on top of the Hive Blockchain that gives Leo tokens as content rewards. It works pretty much the same as the blogging side of Hive with a slight difference: Niche.
Leo Finance is targeted towards users who are interested in the Financial side of the world, which is pretty much everything. Everything has at least something to do with Finance, it all depends from where you look at it.

But Leo Finance is not only for experts in Economics, Finance and Crypto.

Perhaps you didn't know this but, everyone can write a post on Leo Finance!
Your content doesn't necessarily need to be written on a Master level and you don't have to be a Crypto Guru to join this community.
Leo Finance is an portal for you to join the blogging world related to Finance, Money, Crypto, Budgets, Savings, Economics... and much more.
Leo Finance is perfect for anyone who wants to read about Money or wants to write about it - and if you think about it, in this modern world and age, everything is related to Money and Finance, you just have to make the right approach and analysis.
So, here's a challenge for anyone reading this
Make your first post on Leo Finance.
Don't be scared. As we said, you don't need to have an MBA and you don't need to be an Economics professor and you definitely don't have to make a post on an expert level.
We know it might be challenging at first, but are you really going to miss on joining one of the largest and most active communities on Hive just because I don't know about finance?
Almost every topic is related to Finance if you give it the right approach
- Do you hate taxes?
- Are you saving up for a PS5?
- Are prices rising on your city?
- Did that politician stole some funds again?
- Have you heard about the latest NFTs?
- Are you interested in learning more about crypto?
- Is budgeting a pain in the butt for you?
All of those are fair topics to write on Leo, but maybe you are too comfortable blogging about other stuff and missing out on those juicy Leo rewards on top of the Hive rewards you already get from your content.
You would be amazed to see the variety of content on Leo Finance. It's not all about Bitcoin, NFTs and Crypto, there's a huge world to be discovered - and learn from - in the LeoVerse.

It is also for the housewife writing about how to make a budget for the house... Or a highschool student talking about how working a summer job is perfect for saving for that new car... Leo Finance is also for those who are just researching a crypto project and want to write about it, but it is also for those who want to consume that content. Your first post can be about anything: Saving plans, crypto goals, financial status and how you are planning on dealing with it... ANYTHING. There is a 500 USD pool made of Hive tokens and Leo tokens, and we will distribute them among the users who create the most amazing posts! This challenge is meant for those who have never used Leo Finance and want to make their first post. If you are already a Leo Finance user, help us promote this challenge, spread the word, invite other Hivers to join. Yes, definitely. It makes sense because most of the folks who follow you are Spanish-speaking. For the English version, you can send the people to this blog. Anyone can participate and publish in any language, Spanish or English, it's their choice. They need to make sure to use the tag #NewLion so that Leo curators can find them easily. :)

I've used the leofinance tag more than once before but never posted directly on the Leo Finance community.
Qualified or not, I already have some ideas that I'm planning on posting directly on Leo Finance.
Writing is relatively new to me so I am currently finding the right words to make a nice post about it. 🙂

I would do just that. Would make a tutorial on how to post on leofinance and invite those newbies to publish through the leofinance interface.
What way will the prizes break down. The title makes it seem like there is $500 for one person that writes a great post but then the article says,

Depending on the turnover, we will distribute the tokens. The $500 USD are guaranteed though, it just depends on how many people join the challenge, if more people join, we will spread the prize so more people get a piece (on top of the Hive and Leo rewards they get on their posts that we will curate). The prize is definitely not meant for just one person.

Hive is doing their part as a L1 and there are many initiative to grow the community. There is not a centralized entity on Hive that handles marketing due to the decentralized nature of our blockchain, so it is understandable that the wheels turn a tad slower, but there are many efforts around to spread Hive! We are just doing our part :D

I am looking forward to seeing some cool entries. This year, I want to meet new people and make friends with them. I don't generally look at other Hive frontends but this initiative would help us find new peeps from other communities.
And you have made a great point. Leo Finance is for everyone because money is a vital part of everyone's lives. We all manage finances in some way or the other, good or bad. There can be a lot of things people can share with others and we all will become Finance gurus eventually by learning through each others' experiences. :')

Been reading a lot of stuff on leofinance, just yesterday I signed in directly from leofinance. But like the post suggested I think a lot of users weren't aware of the fact that there's more to leofinance.
Like me, most of the top posts I usually see are from people with a very big knowledge of finance relating to cryto, so immediately I see things I don't have understand I just zone out. But thanks for the clarification and the opportunity to include us all. I think I'll login through leofinance again today..

Super important to realize that pretty much everyone has some type of finances that they can talk about. They are part of hive so that means they did invest something be in time or money to get started. Maybe bought into a project and earned some rewards for posting in other places and can write about that.
I very much look forward to the day of Project blank as that's going to break that line and make it open to everyone and give LEOFinance a place to reach millions for their old projects and new.
