**Bitcoin and Ethereum payments accepted.
At those prices, who cares about transaction fees?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah that's kind of the stance both Bitcoin and Ethereum have taken now in terms of fees. It takes 1,000,000 small $1 transactions to equal 1 1 million dollar transaction so don't cater to the little dudes. Same thing applies to business in general.
Ethereum will end up in the hands of the bankers. That is going to be the chain they end up using for their transactions (or a fork of it).
No way Ethereum stays open to the little guy.

The place looks amazing but I can't afford even one night there lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are in crypto. Give it some time and you will be able to afford to buy the entire place.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is very true! Once we get our million-dollar businesses going, we're all going to be able to buy a place like that

No me. Bad investment.
I will come visit yours, in the Summer though. I don't do cold.

Hahaha I'll have the master suite ready

For everyday payments, I have found bitcoin cash to be cheaper.
I am also testing other low fee stablecoins. So far staying away from ETH due to fees.
Bitcoin Cash (BHC) does have a great many users. It is a nice alternative to use given the fees and congestion inherent with using Bitcoin (BTC).

I've been doing a few transactions with HBD and I think it has potential for future deals
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Your comment open my eyes, I couldn't think if there is something like that. Now am stay away from Eth these fees gone killing me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but I don't see people buying BTC and ETH just to stay there. I guess they might use it if they are low on funds and have some BTC/ETH on the sidelines but they might kick themselves in the foot in the future.

I love the mountains yet have no desire to visit the Swiss Alps. If I were to visit Northern Europe, it would be the home of my ancestors in Scandinavia (Norway) or possibly Ireland.

Northern Europe is one of the few places I have never been too. The Mediterranean, Caribbean, Far East and Middle East were my stomping grounds while serving in the Marine Corps.

I am very optimistic with Bitcoin I hope it reaches $ 100,000 before the end of the year but what I really hope is to see Hive soon at $ 10
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive at $10 is something that will take time. I don't see it happening this year or next year but I can see that price in about 3-5 years if we get more applications like Splinterlands.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's right. Even I feel it will take a little while but it's quite possible. I won't be surprised to see another Hive game topping the charts with Splinterlands.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am in agreement with @jfang003. I do not believe we will see $HIVE going to $10.00 USD anytime in the near term, then again? The cryptosphere can be a strange place and anything is possible.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's definitely possible. We just have to keep developing more and more great apps and building the network effect. Imagine what could happen if we can get a few more Splinterlands going
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
$1-$2 is the safest bet for Hive if bitcoin reaches 100k before year end.

Really looking forward to the Cryptomaniacs show tomorrow, when Task and Jongo will have the developer of eXode!

Hey sarfraz, welcome to LeoFinance.
How about starting by posting about what crypto project you're most excited about and why?
This will help others make decisions on whether they should also buy or not.
If you provide value to the community in your posts, then you'll receive bigger upvotes :)
See you around.

What do you mean? Is it you do not know how to post or what topics to post on?
We deal with finance and cryptocurrency so posts should be concentrated in those areas. Business, marketing, and other things associated with entrepreneurship is also acceptable.

This news came out just hours ago Ethereum mining revenue held up in August after EIP-1559 thanks to NFT craze
The authorship is wolfie
That isnt surprising. What is also not a shock is people are complaining about the fees.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is it a good idea to convert hive to HBD at this point? what are the pros and cons?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Since HBD is above $1.05, if you convert HIVE TO HBD, then it will consider HBDs price @ $1 instead of $1.210. This means you will get more HBDs through conversion than exchanging them with HIVE on the market.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
How does one go about this conversion you speak of?
I have figured this out btw, thank you.

Elon Musk worried about NVDIA's purchase of Arm. Do you think it's an issue? I guess having all control over the chip technology might give them an edge.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. Everyone wants to control chip technology. NVIDIA is doing great so far but I am sure Elon and other competitors will now bow easily.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, the USG needs to start putting a stop to some of these mergers. Creating too many monopolies.
Musk is right about this one. It would end up stifling innovation. NVIDIA laps Intel so they would only get a further push ahead.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I can't see Bitcoin at $100k in 2021 but I think $70k is very possible.
I don't think we will get $100 but I think we will probably land around 90k because those future contract sellers want to collect that premium.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Bitcoin to 100K is only a matter of time.
If not in 2021, then in my opinion it wont be long after.
That psychological round number is too much of a magnet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree with you, around $65+k-$70+k before this year is possible but $100k I don't think if it will reach there.

Things not looking good for Cream...
Cream Finance Loses $18 Million in Crypto In Second Hackers’ Attack This Year
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Aren't people tired of experimenting with these new defi projects. I would rather stick to something that works, like cub for example.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Cream isn't actually new and it is a lot older than CUB. Flashloans can be a dangerous tool in the wrong hands no matter how good your code is. If anything will pose a threat to lending protocols it will be flashloans.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I haven't explored lending yet. If it's so dangerous and prone to hacks then why don't we stop using such services until they find a solution to this problem.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wasn't aware of it but it's definitely bad news... I hope they can get their act together
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Whoops! These hacks are getting common now. I wonder how many people were affected by this and how will they get through such an attack.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The author of this article believes in 100k BTC and 5k ETH before the end of 2022.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We could hit that before the end of 2021 if we get another bull leg up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We are all getting excited about the HIVE price starting to move up.
Splinterlands is bringing in a crazy amount of new accounts per day and HIVE continues leaving exchanges.
But are you watching the price of old friend STEEM too?
As much as we like to think that HIVE's price rise is because of real activity here... it's not.
We continue to just follow STEEM up and down, completely independent from the fundamentals of each network.
You could look at that as a negative because the market doesn't care what we're actually doing here, or a positive because once they actually do, HIVE will experience a proper re-pricing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That might be the case although Hive did close the gap.
I am not sure why people still look at Steem. Who cares? It is nothing to do with Hive anymore. It is like trying to compare BSV to Bitcoin.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The fact the HIVE and STEEM price continues to mirror each other, while the fundamental direction of each moves in opposite directions, is hugely significant.
It means the market is not watching what is actually happening and is mispricing both.
If you truly believe in the direction Hive has taken, then the opportunity to make money from this market mispricing is HUGE.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I do believe that is the case. I think STEEM is overpriced and HIVE is underpriced at this moment
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exactly , this is the actual truth.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I will be the first to admit that Hive is severely underpriced by the market. But that is obvious to anyone watching the platform.
I also think it is one of the hidden gems in cryptocurrency.
Of course, I see what you are saying but most of the Hive versus Steem is not coming from the trading direction. Too many still have a fascination with what is going on with Steem.
Personally, I dont think it matters much at all.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
this market mispricing has been the case for over a year. I don't think it is going to change anytime soon.
I still repost my content on steem hoping to earn some free coins and buy some hive as well. it is just a unique opportunity for content creators i guess.
I don't think steem has much of a future but there is still money on the table.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I know many do that and I don't judge them for that but personally I can't be bothered
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i understand. we all have different reasons for doing what we do. as regards posting on steem it is something i do occasionally. in all honesty, there isn't much going on there that interests me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ignoring the morals of supporting that scumbag Sun, you should really reconsider duplicating your content on Steem purely because it is hurting the value of your Hive investment.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
can you throw more light on this, please. Because in my mind selling steem i earn for my content for hive should help hive, or am I wrong?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This month Google has sent 4x the amount of traffic to LeoFinance than the 2nd biggest referrer (Twitter).
But Google doesn't like spammy, duplicate content and penalises domains that do this.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
To earn extra coins and buy hive...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
More a blessing than a negative. There is still a lot of time to get informed and accumulate. The market is rarely right anyway.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The market is always right ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's something that's very accurate but many tend to forget about
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not much movement and Splinterlands really isn't just hive it's tron, steem, wax, ethereum, binance (cubdefi) and so much more. While it creates a ton of accounts on Hive it doesn't mean they are actually using hive itself. In many cases most of these people don't even know it exists still.
I even saw a PR about the game the other day that said it was on the steem block chain. So there's a major branding issue still. We need more Dapps on Hive so if anyone is looking for investors into a hive only project hit me up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In game wallets may be connected to other chains, but the gameplay and token ecosystem run on the Hive blockchain.
Each account requires Hive RC to operate, needing HP.
Even if the users aren't paying for it themselves out of pocket, Splinterlands is on their behalf.
The Hive blockchain is integral to Splinterlands.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true for the splinterlands paying for them. It kind of makes sense since you really can't start playing the game till you buy a spell book which is $10 in itself. That's most likely how the cover the initial RC that a new account needs which is pretty dang cool in itself. DEC I think is hive and Binance and SPS is Binance primarily. Either way it does help the ecosystem just not as much as it could. Not complaining though lol
That's true... I never thought about it
How do people that found out about Splinterlands but have no idea what is Hive go about it? Do they need to learn at least the basics to power up some tokens to have enough RC?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
hmmm... this is an interesting viewpoint. What is splinterland's PR team doing about this? it would help If they put hive out there along with their project.
But i still think the steem is playing catch up with hive not the other way around.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well STEEM's stable coin, SBD (pegged to USD?), is not really that stable. From what I understand, the demographics of STEEM is mainly comprised of Southeast Asian folks.
As I only know two phrases in Korean (thank you and your welcome), STEEM has no use case for me. Therefore; I have absolutely no interest in what is going on with them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You don't have any interest in having your data and money stored on Justin Sun's personal, laggy database? ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it's probably true to an extent because most things tend to react as a sector (similar to the stock market). Of course if HIVE itself becomes more well known than STEEM in both market cap and reputation, I think it will be STEEM following our price action and not the other way around.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
But at the moment, that is not the case.
It's very much algorithmic driven trading where HIVE follows STEEM.
With the complete opposite direction that the two blockchains have taken, this means HIVE's market price isn't a true reflection of value.
And as a result, there could be an opportunity to continue accumulating cheap HIVE before the inevitable repricing comes.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Havent really followed steem in a while but that's a good point
Hopefully that changes soon
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I dunno, i think it is about time the back and forth between both projects stopped. I think we are miles ahead of steem but like you said this is crypto and the market isn't the smartest (if it was hive we would be high up there).
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive is decentralised, Steem is not.
There is no comparison to be made anymore.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive is so underrated on the market. It's one of the best staking coins out there with hundreds of use cases. It's sad to see Steem doing so well even a year after the fork.
Steem should be zero.

I saw this video about the retro gaming market and it talked about how people can create a bubble. There is a lot of sketchy information and I lean more towards that it is true. The manipulation of media and becoming the authority source is quite convincing.
Also I am sad that its no longer collectors buying them up but more about rich people wanting to sell it off for a higher price later.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Interesting stuff.
I used to be a huge Magic The Gathering fan and some of their most loyal players have a similar complaint about many rich people who don't care about the game at all and just keep manipulating the cards market as a way to make even more money.

We are a couple days away from the onset of our contest. For the month of September, we need to hit 10,000 comments in the @leomarkettalk posts.
This is an average of 333 per day.
Whatever is in the Leomarkettalk account at the end of the month will be distributed to the winners.

Yes it is really a high bar considering where we are of late. We will see if the incentive motivated people.

Quick survey:
Today is Cubfinance IDO day.
Who is getting involved with it? Raise your hands.
Well not really, post it here.
For me, I am not getting involved. I will be buying more CUB though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For whatever my opinion is worth, here goes:
I decided to participate but in a very limited manner (only approximately $50 CUB-BUSD LP tokens. This decision was hard as my initial impression of CAKEPOP really was/is poor mid to long term. All in all I do not see CAKEPOP lasting more than 6 months as to me the whole thing seems unsustainable. But...
If you read between the lines like @edicted did (and I did following his leads), this becomes a very interesting short term price play. Risky yes, a gamble, well, yes. But its the kind of thing I really like to take a shot at for the thrill, excitement and enjoyment.
So what am I looking for? Well, hopefully the IDO is well received and sells out/closes fast. I want to be holding the CAKEPOP tokens ASAP! Believe me, a page will remain open on my laptop to real-time prices on this thing. There's going to be the initial pump, but I do not believe that will alone be sufficient to get me to my target of 10x. After the initial pump, CAKEPOP needs to trade some volume, both new in as well as profit takers out - this will let the deflationary tax effect (through token burn) the price, hopefully positively driving me to the 10x goal.
Now, if I get lucky and 10x is achieved rather quickly (hey, you never know with these things) I may reassess and shoot for 25x - but I'm looking extreme short term for 10x first and I'll be real happy. Turning $50 into $500 in a few days is nothing to shake a stick at.
And while I'm watching the CAKEPOP price for my exit, I'll be watching the value of my dear Cubbies go up and up (will we see $1 +, we shall see).
Whatever everyone else decides to do good luck. I know my strategy above is not for everyone, but its a little bit of fun for this retired guy. And trust me, I've pissed away a hell of a lot more than $50 in my lifetime!
Now I just hope this goes off as Scheduled!!! (?)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for sharing it and what you wrote makes a lot of sense. I have not looked at it at all so I cannot comment on the particulars.
In general, nothing wrong with taking a lottery approach to something and swinging for the fences. Sounds like the $50 is lose it money to you, so not the end of the world if it goes tits up.
I hope you get your 10X...a nice return for a few days/weeks of work.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Good luck. I think it might also be a good short term play. But how long will this short-term be? Is it a week, a month or just a few days?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Of course it is my hope that 'short term' here is only going to be a couple days. But I think realistically I'm looking for the end of the start-up pump two to four weeks after launch. But, we will see.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for sharing your strategy in so much detail Kevin. That's somewhat the same thing I was thinking of doing... might give it a go
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Still haven't decided. I'm leaning towards sitting this one out but might pull the trigger at the last minute.
Buying CUB is certain regardless of what happens, though
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Today was my claim 100 day! Almost brought a tear to my eye lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I plan on throwing a little at it, if for no other reason than to support CUB. IMO we need this one to look good in order for the next ones to keep coming. Granted, they seem to already have a few signed up but...nothing speaks louder than results. In the meantime, the yield on Cakepop is in CAKE. I've been in that Kingdom since the beginning and have done very well. I won't mind adding some more of it to my bags through this IDO. I'm with kevin though. I'm not going to be throwing the house at it or anything. Probably a couple hundred bucks to see if it sticks.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's a good point. I think that even if the new project itself doesn't succeed, it's important that the IDO process is a success.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes selling out is important. Nothing would have been worse than an IDO that sells like 10% of what they are looking for.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I won't get involved either. At least I will wait things out since I didn't have enough time to properly research everything.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not touching this one with a ten-foot pole. The project looks way too dodgy for my style.
If you are thinking of going in with a tiny investment, read some of the comments from Fing's Should You Buy $CAKEPOP blog that advise against this strategy.
and
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
And I fully agree with him - if you're planning on holding this shitcoin. Then his strategy aptly applies and a minimum invest of a minor number of CUB is unwarranted.
But... if you're planning on doing something like I am (solely short-term price play for a 10x return) a minimum investment would be the only thing I would suggest. You don't bet the farm on a pure gamble play. Laying $50 for a possible short-term return of $500 - I'll take the shot so long as there's a minimum viability in the project.
At my age risk/reward is fun - play that game every morning getting out of bed. With this I'm at least playing for some beer money.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
lol what is cubfinance IDO? i am so far behind. being living under a rock.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha you might want to read some of the official announcements as I'm not really the best person to explain it
In very simple terms, it's a way for new projects to raise some initial capital using the Cub Finance platform and user base.

I really liked the part of the Hive is Ethereum 2.0.
That struck a chord with me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Unfortunately that is the one threw me for a loop since I don't consider HIVE anywhere close to ETH in terms of appeals.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What do you mean?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I was considering ETH more as smart contracts. In HIVE, I don't really see us focusing on it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I just bought another batch of CUB* tokens and put them in the Kingdom.
That is my approach to the IDOs going live.
I will keep stacking CUB and enjoy the overall ride.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I got some myself. Let's see how that goes!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The IDO appears to be going well. About 4 hours in and 45% sold.
We will see how much eventually gets bought. I think it will be tough to sell all.
I hope it does sell out, would be a good win for the first outing.

Only in the US, you can buy crypto through PAYPAL directly.
You can try this with your credit card: https://lobstr.co/buy-bitcoin/sweden/
Also, check this: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/sweden/

Do not mention crypto in paypal memos or anywhere if you do account block is inevidatble.

Question.
Considering Binance requires KYC for most of it's operation now, is it possible to work with the binance supported asssets outside their ecosystem? like say BUSD, CUB etc etc.
BSC doesn't require KYC so yes you can still deal with those assets. The only thing about Binance is trying to withdraw and deposit money for fiat.

No KYC if you don't deal with FIAT. But if you do KYC they are giving $5 BUSD in rewards. Out personal info is so fucking cheap.

Oh really?
I didn't even get that lol
I did KYC when I first got into crypto because I didn't know better and they didn't give me anything lol

I have no doubt that Bitcoin will hit $ 100,000 which is when. What do you think?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think it will hit it in 2021. There is just too much money on the line from the peoples in the futures market.

The question of when will bitcoin reach 100K is asked all the time.
100K is this juicy, psychological number that I have no doubt will be hit sooner rather than later.
It's inevitable.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it's coming but I don't worry too much about that particular number. As forexbrokr stated, it's a nice round number and all but the main thing is that BTC will continue to rise

When you're sharing LeoFinance links, always make sure you're doing it under relevant anchor text.
Eg this one could be:
Sorry to be annoying, but this is the most important part of sharing our own links.

All good... we used to it like that because that's the only way the banner bot would work. I don't know if that's a thing anymore but anyway this is probably more important
I edited the post

Ahh, that makes sense.
Has that been fixed?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No it has not been fixed. It's why I am a little conflicted so we might want to see if @amr008 wants to fix it.

For what it's worth, I find the image looks spammy...
I'm almost certain that having an all-text message that looks like it has manually been written by a human saying something like:
"We're chatting about your post over on the LeoFinance crypto markets live blog. Click here to add your 2 cents."
...would get more clicks and engagement over here.

Maybe @sgt-dan can change up the image. We can feel free to change up the image.
