I love the optimism around here! lol
The #Hive price has dipped below $2 for the first time in a little while... and the price of Coingecko CANDIES is still undetermined. As you were. 😏
2$ hive is not bad and I think we will still see 4$ because not only hive have price pullback also all major coin

Yep... everything seems to be tied to the fiat markets. If the S&P tanks, so does Bitcoin and the whole "altcoin" market. It's frustrating that this fringe, anarchistic economy struggles to take a meaningful step away from Wall Street.
But maybe I'm just cranky. lol
It will be a while before the cryptocurrency economy reaches the point where people mention terms such as fiat money, fiat currency, or paper money and we ask "what's that?" Until that happens, we're still on that roller coaster or bumper car ride.

Never overestimate the optimism when the price of Hive runs up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE is back to USD 2.100. It looks as if the downturn for BTC isn't as bad it it had been even a year ago. HIVE is holding strong even if it dips below USD 2.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That didnt age well. It got slammed overnight.
Everything is getting hit.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
USD 1.830 isn't as pretty as 2 dollars, but it's better than where we were a month ago. HBD is at USD 0.917.
Bitcoin is around USD 48,128 last time I checked. I was in bed the last 8 hours, so I have no idea what happened; I'm guessing it was profit-taking rather than tweets or bad news.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No matter what the price of HIVE is, I think I will be doing the same thing that I usually do. $2 HIVE is still higher than what it was a few months or a year ago.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Me too... I think most Hivians are powered up and participating anyway, but we appreciate seeing the spike in our portfolio. This most recent crash is frustrating overall though... whenever the stupid fiat markets react to the world, crypto goes along for the ride. That makes it hard to talk about Bitcoin (or any other crypto asset) as a hedge for anything.
I suggest looking at things from a long-term point of view instead. More and more of the crypto market is being tied together to the traditional markets. It doesn't help that the institutional guys are away during the weekends so it's easy to crash.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It should remain more stable on the weekend for that reason... if the biggest players are away, who's doing the selling?
Some of the whales who want price to drop so they can buy it for cheaper. I heard this happened quite often before.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
President Bukele always looks to buy the dip. This is a dip, unexpected as it was.

Several hours ago, in yesterday's live blog. I posted/commented about trouble with the Hive Engine, LeoDex, and TribalDex.
At this moment, Tribaldex is in the best working order, Hive Engine looks OK, but LeoDex just hangs as it tries to load a page.
Details:
Required field. Price must be a number greater than 0.
At least Hive Engine recognized my LTC to give me SWAP.LTC I could use here.
After figuring out how to bring outside money into Hive and how to transfer crypto back and forth between the centralized exchange and my desktop wallets, I was hoping stack some HIVE and LEO as well as buy the dip for POB. Instead, I'm dealing with cosmic rays or gremlins chewing through network cables.

No Crypto Ban — Government Will Regulate Crypto Assets - India's Cabinet Note
https://leofinance.io/@successforall/no-crypto-ban-government-will-regulate-crypto-assets-india-s-cabinet-note
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's a great news !! !PIZZA
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, it is great news. India is a huge market. If they ever open it up for crypto that will crypto market a big boost. But I have my doubts because the government of India is more interested in centralization than decentralization. We have to wait and see what sort of regulations they are coming up with.
In any case since it's not a ban that's a great news !

REMINDER!!!
Get your #CANDIES, they are going to be worth a fortune.
Join the brigade now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am at 8.2k candies now. What price do you think candies would have if they we could sell them?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Since there is no open market, there is no pricing. It is all inhouse set up by the company. CANDIES are not decentralized in any manner.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Even though I'm a stranger now in these lands, I've been filling up my candy bag!
Have about 6k!
If it doesn't worth a fortune, I'm sure it will get a lot of cavities.
At worst, you can spend the CANDIES at the Candy Store at CoinGecko.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. But curious if they are going to do something else with it so I'll hoard 😋
Done this time !! !PIZZA

Incase anyone doesn't know, the CTPSB challenge is currently ongoing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you for sharing this!
A little bird told me that some other CTP delegations are coming for the top winners!
Still under discussion with @achim03 but hope it gives an extra motivation anyway ;)
I will need to make a post about that ;-)
That is nice to know. I won't be in the top spots but I think they will appreciate the bonus rewards.

The markets are getting crushed.
Is this the pullback before the major run up?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it is good news and it might be the catalyst for that 100k BTC for the end of the year. After all they need to scare out a bunch of people before running upwards.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
20%, even 30% pullbacks are typical in a bullmarket, so I'm not worried.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In a few hours?
Crypto is wild haha
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm pretty sure it has happened even in a few hour time frame, too, haha.
It looks like too many people bought "100 K till the end of the year" as fact and when it appears that it won't happen, they suddenly get cold feet and started panic selling. A lot of leverage didn't help either.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Or this could be a reloading before the major run.
Sometimes a major sell off happens before the long run.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree with taskmaster about the need to remove some people before running up. The markets generally don't do exactly what you expect so they need to flush out those that they can.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Since it doesn't go really low, even with this crush we are still winner for most of the tokens. Prices have increase way more than they decreased
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Question.
How is crypto.com in your opinion? I checked out some of the bad reviews about the platform and it looks like shady to be honest. What is your observation on it?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There is a SBT airdrop going on. It's suppose to be a token created so you can tip your opponents you play against in game but I think I might just forget about it and have it sit in my HE wallet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The latest cryptomaniac's podcast is out. I feel there was a large variety of topics from splinterlands, HIVE airdrops and other topics.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah we were all over the place a bit. It was interesting where the questions took us.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The crypto crash might announce a new push towards All Time Highs across the strong cryptocurrencies. Hopefully, Hive is one of them and will see it surpass the $3 threshold. That would reflect the strength and potential of this blockchain, even if the price isn't always the greatest indicator for a crypto performance!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive is currently (10:09 UTC) holding relatively well, slightly under 2 US$, with price dropping slower than BTC.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think so but there has been a lot of people talking about the bear market. So who knows what will happen. Of course I think HIVE will do well even in the bear market.

I just realized something few days ago. The Swap DeFi tools on Tribaldex and Beeswap are really great but there are still some issues.
If you want to swap two tokens that don't have a LP you just can't do the swap :
While in any other DeFi platform there are some additional swaps to make it possible if there isn't a direct route to join the two tokens like here ;
I think adding this kind of feature to Hive would be a really great idea and would save a lot of time ! !PIZZA
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If I understand you correctly, you're suggesting a way to swap tokens that are in LPs, but which are themselves not in an LP of their own (i.e., swap APE with ZEBRA if there's a PIZZA:APE pool and a DEC:ZEBRA pool but no APE:ZEBRA pool). If this is correct, that would be a very useful feature.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If by DEC you meant APE then yes !
I would need to have a pool to link the on we want.
If you want to swap APE for ZEBRA but there isn't a APE:ZEBRA pool, you'll need to swap the APE for a token that is pooled with ZEBRA.
!PIZZA
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I think that feature would be nice as well. Right now it relies on the actual pool existing but I think adding a few more steps should be fine if you account for the price impact.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah ! And maybe letting the users choose which route they want to use 🤔 !PIZZA
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think the user needs to choose a route. It should choose the route that is most likely to give you the best return rate.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes you're right. I was thinking that since there are no fees there will no be price changes but the slippage will not be the same for each route so yep, you're right !

'What is Decentraland (MANA) used for?' is finished, published and linked to the Guide.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
@forexbrokr
In that it appears you really want an article comparing Decentraland with Second Life, and apparently have no takers to help you out, I'll work on it tonight and tomorrow.
Hell, my weekend plans fell apart anyway. Might just as well be productive.

May the fourth be with you!
Hive did the unthinkable bounce like a ball
and come back to the two mark.
Great time to be a hiver
